[name_f]Claire[/name_f] is my favorite name of all time, but I live in a [name_f]Claire[/name_f] cluster (Mid-Atlantic U.S.A.) I have had 3 Claires in a class twice and one year I had 4. Popularity usually doesn’t bother me, but I would have to think twice about this one. In contrast, I have never had more than two Emmas in a class and I have only met one [name_f]Ava[/name_f] in my entire life.
I love [name_f]Claire[/name_f]! I knew a few Claires growing up but unless popularity is a dealbreaker for you then I don’t see that as an issue. It’s a very elegant, classic name. I used it for my DD’s second middle
It is a beautifully simple and classic name.
It is elegant, brief and quite romantic, but for some reason I don’t like it that much. It might be that I am not from US so the “r” can sound like a “y”or it might be a childhood [name_f]Claire[/name_f] who was unpleasant (at the time). I just can’t quite get into it!
