Recently I have been really liking the name [name_u]Connie[/name_u] I think it’s really sweet, adorable, spunky and lovable (If that makes sense) but I was just wondering what sort of views do you guys have of the name [name_u]Connie[/name_u]? And in case you guys were wondering if I were to use the name [name_u]Connie[/name_u] on a future daughter of mine her middle name would be probably [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] so what do you think of the name [name_u]Connie[/name_u] and the full name [name_u]Connie[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]?
(I don’t mind the full name of [name_f]Constance[/name_f] but I prefer the shorter name [name_u]Connie[/name_u])!
What do you guys think?
No, sorry. I don’t. I like [name_f]Constance[/name_f].
I like it. I think [name_u]Connie[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is spunky, modern, adorable. Lots of character in a short name - my favorite kind!
[name_f]Constance[/name_f] is adorable, but I don’t really love [name_u]Connie[/name_u]. And [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is far too similar to [name_u]Connie[/name_u] to put them in a combo together. Sorry. [name_f]Constance[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], nn [name_u]Connie[/name_u] or something like [name_u]Connie[/name_u] [name_u]Piper[/name_u] would be sweet.
[name_u]Connie[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] just does not flow well in my opinion. I agree with PP that [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] has too many similar sounds and that’s what isn’t working. I’m not a fan of [name_u]Connie[/name_u]/[name_f]Constance[/name_f] either. If you do go with [name_u]Connie[/name_u], I think any name that isn’t heavy on C’s, K’s, Q’s, or N’s would be better. [name_u]Piper[/name_u] is a great example, as are [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], etc.
[name_u]Connie[/name_u] is great, and [name_u]Connie[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] sounds so spunky! I think the repeated ‘nn’ in [name_u]Connie[/name_u] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] makes it very visually appealing and it rolls nicely off the tongue. That name has a lot of spark and I can definitely see an actress or musician going be [name_u]Connie[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]- the two names just fit together so nicely.
Normally I prefer full names with nicknames, except when I hear one of those few, exceptional and remarkable nicknames as names (when paired with an amazing middle).
Bu [name_u]Connie[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is great! It’s spunky and cute - reminds me of a rockstar or someone along those lines.
[name_u]Connie[/name_u] is lovely, and [name_u]Connie[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] sounds beautiful!
No, sorry. And it’s worse w/the alliteration (KON-nee kwinn). [name_f]Constance[/name_f] isn’t that interesting, but [name_f]Constantia[/name_f] intrigues me.
