[name]Dana[/name] (day-na)
[name]Petra[/name]
[name]Nicola[/name] (nick-a-la)
[name]Irina[/name]
I like [name]Petra[/name] from your list. The others I’m not that keen on.
I like [name]Petra[/name] the best.
I like [name]Petra[/name] too.
I like [name]Petra[/name] best, too.
I don’t think most people would pronounce the spelling of [name]Nicola[/name] the way you prefer.
I like [name]Nicola[/name] best, and would pronounce it as you spelled it.
[name]Dana[/name] (day-na)–YES, I love this name!! It is my middle name as well as my mother’s. We spell it as you do here, [name]Dana[/name], which is the original spelling and my favorite.
[name]Petra[/name]–It’s okay, it feels sort of ‘Hunger Games’ to me or something.
[name]Nicola[/name] (nick-a-la)–I had a good friend named [name]Nicola[/name] ([name]Nick[/name]-uh-la) and I do think it’s a prettier version of [name]Nicole[/name]. It’s not a name you hear every day and is feminine, [name]IMO[/name].
[name]Irina[/name]–As in, [name]Irene[/name] with an ‘a’ pronouncement? If so, I like it very much!
I like [name]Dana[/name] and [name]Nicola[/name] the best.
My favorite is [name]Irina[/name] then [name]Petra[/name] (though the second reminds me of the word petrafied.)
[name]Irina[/name] is definitely my favorite!
I like [name]Petra[/name] and [name]Irina[/name], but pn Ee-reen-na.
Yeah this is the problem I think people will have with [name]Irina[/name]. I’d worry they’ll look at it and say ‘eye-reen-a’ instead of ‘ee-reen-a’.
They will though. It’s one of those names said right only be people familiar with it. That said, I don’t think people intend to get it wrong… so as long as you keep with the pronunciation you want, I’m sure the people around you at least, will catch on and get it right.
