[name_f]Vada[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]: vay-duh, like from the movie “My girl” which is a movie very ose to my heart. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] because I love the nn “[name_f]Nell[/name_f]”/ “[name_f]Nellie[/name_f]”. Also, I’m american so [name_f]Vada[/name_f] is not associated with “Darth” [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]: I’ve just always loved this name. Nn would be “[name_f]Mae[/name_f]”, which I love. [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]: I’m aware of the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] connotations, I myself love his work. I doubt kids will know the association, at least until highschool. But I still think it’s beautiful. Nn “[name_f]Lottie[/name_f]”? Maybe?
Tell me what you think all you mamas, momtobes, and future mamas :))
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is my favorite. It is beautiful and I love the nn [name_f]Mae[/name_f]! Your names are similar in style, but this is my favorite of the three.
[name_f]Vada[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - [name_f]Vada[/name_f] is an intriguing choice. I like her simple, vintage charm, and she seems to be very special to you.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is quite lyrical, melodic. The nickname is especially darling. This is my favorite name on your list.
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is a stunning combination. I, for one, love the Shakespearean connotations. My second choice, for sure.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is gorgeous! I personally don’t find the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] reference for [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] a problem, but I think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] flows better. Not a huge fan of [name_f]Vada[/name_f] unfortunately.
[name_f]Vada[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]-I love love love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/[name_f]Nellie[/name_f]. For whatever reason I don’t love [name_f]Nell[/name_f], but there’s nothing wrong w/it. I typically would say I prefer [name_u]Vida[/name_u] to [name_f]Vada[/name_f] & I don’t love the sound of [name_f]Vada[/name_f], however, I love the reason that you have it on your list. It’s a nice name none the less.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]-Gorgeous! It has a very fairy-like quality, but also sort of bold & sophisticated. I like [name_f]Mae[/name_f] too, but it seems sort of unnecessary to use [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. Why not just [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]? Or [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] nn [name_f]Mae[/name_f]?
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]-I wouldn’t worry at all about the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] thing. [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is not my personal favorite, but it’s different. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] is fine, but [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is way over done. This combo does have a nice flow.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is stunning, and [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is also lovely. I’m not keen on [name_f]Vada[/name_f] though.
