[name]Cordelia[/name], because I hate it when [name]Cecilia[/name] is spelled [name]Cecelia[/name].
My husband hates the traditional spelling [name]Cecilia[/name] because the end reminds him of cilia
i prefer [name]Cordelia[/name], since it is less used and has a rich history. also the cool nn [name]Cord[/name] over [name]Celia[/name] or [name]CeCe[/name]
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name]
Hands down, [name]Cordelia[/name]. It is a name I like myself, and is very underused, [name]IMO[/name], with a great sound and history.
I do not particularly like the hissy sound of [name]Cecelia[/name], nor do I like [name]Cece[/name].
[name]Cordelia[/name], for some reason, strikes me as frillier than [name]Cecilia[/name], so I voted for the latter. I agree it’s better spelled [name]Cecilia[/name], though.
I voted [name]Cecelia[/name], but I prefer it spelt [name]Cecilia[/name] as well. I like [name]Cordelia[/name] too but I do prefer [name]Cecilia[/name].
I love Cordelia. I’m torn, because I like the nickname Celia, but I suppose a Cordelia could be nicknamed Celia if you really wanted (it’s definitely a stretch since the sounds are so different, but no more so than some things.)
Much prefer [name]Cordelia[/name]. I don’t like [name]CeCe[/name], [name]Sissy[/name], etc., it’s just all way too hissy for me. And I love [name]Cory[/name], [name]Della[/name], [name]Delia[/name], etc
First of all, I love the spelling [name]Cecelia[/name], even though it isn’t the “proper” spelling. I like it that way to make it easier to have the nn [name]Celia[/name] and to get away from the name [name]Cecil[/name].
My vote was for [name]Cordelia[/name] though. It’s not as common. I really dislike [name]Delia[/name], which is funny cuz I like [name]Celia[/name], but I like do like [name]Cordy[/name]. [name]Cordy[/name] would be cute on a child. I like the full name [name]Cordelia[/name] and I prefer full names. [name]Cecelia[/name] as a full name seems like it would always be shortened to [name]Cece[/name] or [name]Celia[/name].
I prefer [name]Cordelia[/name] because I think [name]Cecelia[/name] is a little old.
[name]Cecelia[/name], although I prefer the [name]Cecilia[/name] spelling. [name]Cordelia[/name] is perfectly lovely though.
[name]Cordelia[/name], hands down.
[name]Both[/name] are beautiful, but I prefer [name]Cordelia[/name] for sure! It’s one of my favourite names in general. Though both are very feminine, [name]Cordelia[/name] sounds much stronger to me while [name]Cecilia[/name]/[name]Cecelia[/name] is a bit flimsy.
