Hey all! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] for a boy or a girl? I like it more for a boy, but want some other input.
Thanks

Hello there,
I would most likely assume that a [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] was a boy, but I think it might be beginning to trend for a girl these days - I think either gender could rock it if you love it!
Warmly,
K.
It could honestly work for either. Considering the trends, however, I would assume a [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] would be a male based on the sound and that using surnames as first names is a typically masculine trend. (Last year, 469 boys were named [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] compared to 213 girls.)
I think it’s unisex, but my first thought would be girl since our adopted dog’s original name was [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] (we shortened it to [name_u]Lexie[/name_u])
I prefer it on a boy.
i’ve only met one [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] and she was a girl so I usually think of a girl, however I like this for both genders equally
Probably a boy, but I love [name_u]Lennon[/name_u] for a girl
I prefer [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] as a name for my decorative glassware only, but it sounds like a masculine name to me because of the ox ending.
I think either, but mostly boy because of [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] from MacBeth.
To me, names ending in X are masculine. I would say it is a boy name.
Definitely a BOY to me!
It sounds VERY masculine to me. And normally I’m not opposed to masculine-sounding names on girls, but [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] seems pretty close to 100% boy [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
Total boy name to me
I think a girl is very good, but I want the first childen is a boy will be better, The older boy can protect the younger girl. Sexy Homecoming Dresses
I used to hate it for a girl, but lately it’s been growing on me. I still prefer it for a boy, but it works just fine for either.
It’s not really my style but I prefer it on a boy. However, I’ve seen two baby girls named [name_u]Lennox[/name_u].
I’d prefer it on a little guy.
I’ve seen it used on both. I worked with a nice guy named [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] and thought his name was really cool and unusual. Then I met a girl named [name_u]Lennox[/name_u] and thought it was really cool and unusual. lol. However, the girl seemed to fit the name better. If I personally used it, I would use it on a girl.
I prefer it on a girl. It’s my favorite girl name and i will use it if i have another girl. With the [name_m]Len[/name_m] beginning, i think it works better for a girl. However, I can see it working for both genders. The girl’s side is gaining on the boy’s side very quickly. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it surpass the boys within a few years
In my opinion it is a boys name
