Do you think Eleanor work with my sibset?

I posted a few weeks ago. My kids are:

[name_m]Asher[/name_m] [name_m]Joel[/name_m]
[name_f]Bethany[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]

We have four weeks to go and don’t know gender!We’re settled on a boys name. The girls name that we currently have is [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. Still sitting on the fence with it a bit, I imagine that I will want to use a nickname. The middle name isn’t one syllable like the others either! (It’s a family name).

Thoughts???

The length was the only thing that stood out to me, considering all other middle names are one syllable as you said yourself, otherwise [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] fits just fine in my opinion.
If the middle name thing doesn’t bother you, I’d absolutely say go for it, if [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is a family name, does the pattern really matter that much?

I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] with your set, and I especially love the option of [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] as a nickname. If the one-syllable pattern means a lot to you, you could go with a diminutive of [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] or a name with the same meaning (“pearl”) that has one syllable to get the best of both. Some ideas:

All the other middle names were one syllable so while [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] fits, [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] does not.

[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] works but not [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] imo

I don’t think Magaret is necessarily a deal breaker. I do like some of the suggestions of diminutives in it’s place! [name_f]Mae[/name_f] and [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] seem to fit your style well.

And I think [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] works great in your sibset!
