[name]Do[/name] you think the name [name]Todd[/name] is outdated??
Personally I do. I like [name]Tobias[/name] though.
It does have a very late 80’s, early 90’s feel to me, yes.
Who cares - it’s a fantastic name. I love it and it was on our short list.
I love [name]Theodore[/name] nn [name]Ted[/name]. [name]Ted[/name] is dated but it’s dated with its eyes open, that is, it is aware of how dated it is. I get the feeling that [name]Todd[/name] is dated but doesn’t realize it.
Yes, very much so. I love [name]Tobias[/name] nn [name]Toby[/name] and [name]Theodore[/name] nn [name]Theo[/name] though! [name]Thaddeus[/name] nn [name]Tad[/name] perhaps?
I agree that [name]Todd[/name] is dated. (I was thinking 1980’s, but according to [name]Pam[/name] and [name]Linda[/name] on Nameberry, it’s a 1970’s name.)
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Teddy[/name], [name]Susan[/name], and have always planned on naming a baby boy [name]Edward[/name] (family name) and calling him [name]Teddy[/name]. (I know that [name]Teddy[/name] is a nickname for both [name]Edward[/name] and [name]Theodore[/name], but for some reason, I’ve always associated [name]Teddy[/name] with [name]Edward[/name], reserving [name]Theo[/name] for [name]Theodore[/name].)
[name]Tad[/name] is a great suggestion.
[name]Edward[/name] nn [name]Teddy[/name] is so adorable that I think I might faint if you name your son that. Make sure that when you tell me I am sitting down.
I did know lots of Todds in 80’s high school. I still think it is a strong name and if you like it you should use it!
