I have a list that borderlines GP, but part of me wants to be able to use them! What are your thoughts on these names as first names? [name_m]How[/name_m] about middle names only?

I think they’re mostly usable, all but [name_f]Spirit[/name_f] and [name_f]Clarity[/name_f].
Aeris: I’d use it, but I’m a huge fan of Final [name_f]Fantasy[/name_f].

[name_f]Emerald[/name_f]: I know a girl named [name_f]Garnet[/name_f] and she wears the name well, so [name_f]IMO[/name_f], gem names aren’t that awful.

[name_f]Spirit[/name_f]: All it reminds me of is the Stallion of the [name_f]Cimmaron[/name_f]. Pass.

I think [name_f]Clarity[/name_f] is wonderful! It’s one of my favourite virtue names! (Against [name_f]Amity[/name_f]) [name_f]Lux[/name_f] is super cute too! I can see [name_f]Aira[/name_f] and Aeris being used, but I feel the others are a bit much. [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] is on the border for me, but I feel like there are better gemstone names, like [name_f]Opal[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]!

I wouldn’t use any of them. The really unusable ones are [name_f]Clarity[/name_f], [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] and [name_f]Spirit[/name_f]. The others are okay.
Aeris is pretty, but sounds way too much like [name_f]Eris[/name_f], the Greek goddess of discord, chaos and strife. Not a prime role model.
Not a huge fan of the others, though [name_f]Clarity[/name_f] is not bad.
I think [name_f]Aira[/name_f] is usable.
I love [name_f]Clarity[/name_f] and think it’s fine in MN spot.
[name_f]Emerald[/name_f] could definitely work, with the nn [name_f]Emmy[/name_f].
