Does Any Name Match Any Nationality?

This is sort of inspired by another post on here, but it is something I think is important to consider when I’m looking at names. I plan to adopt most (if not all) of my children, most likely as babies. I have all my favorites, but since I don’t have a significant other at the moment, and my family was all born blue-eyed, blond-haired with a lighter complexion, I always figured that’s what my kids would be like. lol. I just want to make sure these names would work with these names would work for children of any nationality. When you hear these names, what sort of child do you first picture? [name]Do[/name] you think they could work for a child of any nationality?

I’m posting another one of these with my boys’ list on the boys’ name forum, too, if you’d like to comment.

I think that all your names work well in the country your kids will grow up in ( I am assuming you are in the US) and I think that is what matters. If you adopt children from other countries it might be a good thing to try to pick names that work well here AND honor their own heritage.
