I honestly feel crazy but yesterday i bought a notebook at the dollar store just to write down all the names I think of, full, sets, aesthetic, etc I feel like a crazy name lady!
Oh yes! Fellow name and notebook lover here!
This one is full now! I began using it when I joined NB last year. All the little post-it tags say things like:
1921 boys’ names
Armenian
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] Variations
Full Names for [name_u]Percy[/name_u]!
I don’t have an actual notebook, but I’m keeping tabs on my phone!
not a notebook, but many different lists on my phone and computers.
many many many lists on my phone
I don’t have a notebook but I do have a spreadsheet specifically for names
i do lol :]
I have a running list in Google Drive so that I can access it from anywhere! I like the idea of a notebook though because then you can mark things in different ways and add extra notes.
I have one too i don’t use it as often as my listography, but it’s still fun to flick through
I may have written my baby’s name to be like 1000 times in a notebook lol
Gotta make sure it feels good to write it out later! Im sure I will be doing it a lot.
I have a notebook, and I use it more often than my online lists. It’s becoming a bit chaotic though
I just listed my name list in a notebook I got for my birthday today. I used to have them on my phone but I like to write them down too
I keep my list in Google Drive, so it can be easily edited on any device at any time. I feel if I had a notebook, it would become a mess!
I have a highly organized spreadsheet
I have run through quite a few notebooks, an excel spreadsheet, many word documents, & online lists… but don’t let this fool you, they are not very organized and I have yet to find a solution
I have notes on my phone many notes containing many names to be the point my OH panics that I want an army of children
I don’t have a notebook specifically for names alone, but I have like ten notebooks like on my bed and my desk right now that are completely empty. However, @EdgeOfTheMeadow, your reply inspired me to do essentially that but for the plot of a series I’m hoping to write online (as someone who names more fictional children than possible future real-life children, that’s more useful to me).
Not got very far and have a horrible approach to it most likely. Still, I’m most proud because this notebook is basically a perfect match for the series – it’s about star signs.
Having said that, and pretending it’s the rule, the collection I’m amassing makes it look like I must write a lot of [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] fanfiction or something. I mean, I have a notebook for Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, with Slytherin’s counterpart on the way. It’s a bit ridiculous, but honestly I couldn’t care less
Yes I have a notebook
