Have you met anyone with this name? [name]LOVE[/name] the way it looks… I feel like it looks easy to say but when you actually try it’s difficult. I’ve seen Italian and Russian variations but they all seem cumbersome. Depending on if you say Vee- or Vye- would determine nickname potential too.

I would love to meet a little [name]Violetta[/name]! I don’t know anyone with the name personally, but I know someone on another forum with the name, she pronounces it vee-oh-let-ah. I personally prefer that pronunciation. I think Vio, [name]Via[/name], [name]Io[/name], [name]Lettie[/name], [name]Etta[/name], etc. are very sweet for it.
My mom’s dog is named [name]Violetta[/name]. My mom speaks Spanish.
I know a little girl (around 5) named [name]Violetta[/name] [name]Fable[/name]. They pronounce it vee-oh-let-ah (which I think is lovely and easier to say). I’ve never heard anyone have problems with how to say it except the initial question of how they pronounce it. They call her [name]Etta[/name] or Vee or sometimes Veve (veevee). She’s a little blond girl, energetic and imaginative. She’ll likely be artistic as her parents are.
I know a woman with this name. Her and her husband are Canadian doctors currently doing research where my dad works. [name]Both[/name] in their 40’s, totally not how I picture a [name]Violetta[/name]. She is sort of stern in demenor, short with short dark hair and I do not think she has a free spirited bone in her body. I guess nature names always make me think “carefree” to some degree. She goes by “Vee” (I wondered since I have my own litlle version of het name who goes by Vio) But anyways, that’s my only irl experience with that name.

[name]Violetta[/name] means purple in Romanian (go figure). It is pronounced vee-uh-let-ta. I have never met anyone named [name]Violetta[/name], but I think it is a very usable color name and has the familiarity of [name]Violet[/name].
A childhood acquaintance of mine. I think she’s a little bit older than I am. Perhaps 21 or nearly 22 by now. She pronounces it vee-oh-let-ah, nn Vio (as far as I remember).

I have never met a [name]Violetta[/name] but I absolutely love this name. It’s a nice alternative to [name]Violet[/name]…since this name is becoming a little more popular.
