Does anyone know about this name?

Several years ago, I came across [name_f]Tahal[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- it is a name on the Israeli top 100 list (or at least, was back around 2018?). [name_f][/name_f] I’m fascinated by it; I think it’s so fun to say; I love that it could get the nn [name_f]Tali[/name_f] or [name_f]Tally[/name_f] (both of which I love); I think something like [name_f]Tahal[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is beautiful. [name_f][/name_f] I just can’t find any etymological information on it. [name_f][/name_f] Does anyone know anything about the name? [name_f][/name_f] I’m not sure I would pick it over [name_f]Tali[/name_f] or [name_f]Talitha[/name_f] (which I’m currently crushing on majorly), but I do really like it in general and would like to know more about it. [name_f][/name_f] Hoping there might be a Jewish berry on here who has come across it before, if nothing else.

[name_f][/name_f]

Thanks, berries!

Tahal is stunning!

It could be a form of Tahel - or like an alternative transliteration of it. Tahel is the one I can find in the Israeli Top 100?

oh, maybe! [name_f][/name_f] The list[name_f][/name_f] I’d found spells it [name_f]Tahal[/name_f] but I could see there being slight differences in translation due to the change in characters. [name_f][/name_f] I think I like the [name_f]Tahal[/name_f] spelling better, but [name_f]Tahel[/name_f] does have a beautiful meaning. [name_f][/name_f]
