Hey everyone! Im almost done with my “[name]Alec[/name]” poll! Have one more question regarding this - does anyone know a child named [name]Alec[/name], in the Uk or US? Trying to “gage” its popularity in the past 10 years. (I know here, in the UK, there are lots of older [name]Alec[/name]'s).
[name]Hope[/name] Im not burning people out with my [name]Alec[/name] questions, lol! 
I know one [name]Alec[/name], who is 8. (U.S.)
I live in the U.S., and I do not know any Alecs under the age of 10.
I love the name, and had considered it for my son, now almost 12.
i know an [name]Alec[/name] under 10… he’s probably about 3 or 4 by now.
i thought it was a great choice for them as the father was [name]Eric[/name].
it looks like in 2009 [name]Alec[/name] was around #300 in popularity here in the US.
seems pretty safe and a really great name!
I know only one [name]Alec[/name] (ever!), he is 5 and one of my students. HTH!
I was going to say that I did, I used to babysit one, but then I realized he must be about 17 by now. Anyway, he’s the only one I’ve ever met. Oh, and I’m in the US.
I know an [name]Alec[/name] who is 5 and an [name]Alec[/name] who is 10. This in a neighborhood of 360 kids in the school. Not popular.
I only know one [name]Alec[/name], and he’s around 14. It doesn’t seem that popular to me, but a nice name.
