Does Delilah work with a sister named Rory?

my two favorite name combos right now (could completely change by next week lol) are [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_m]Rory[/name_m] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f], do you think they work as sisters?

I think they work as sisters, especially if they’ve a girly-girl (Delilah) and tomboy (Rory) dynamic, as those are generally the vibes I get from those names- but it’d still be cool if they had a different dynamic; it’s just my personal interpretation.

They seem like completely different styles to me. I’d be surprised to hear they were sisters.

They are not an obvious combination but they work well enough.

I know two sisters named [name_m]Rory[/name_m] & [name_f]Michaela[/name_f] - if that works, I don’t see why [name_m]Rory[/name_m] & [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] wouldn’t work.

I think they totally work!

I think, weirdly, they really work despite being so disparate in style; they both have a unifying cool girl thing about them. I adore all the middle names too but the thing that is bugging me is the asymmetry - any chance of [name_m]Rory[/name_m] getting a second middle to balance out [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]? Other that that, I think they’re fab.

Absolutely! I love eclectic sets, personally, and both of these names are super popular and trendy today so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them together at all!!

I think [name_m]Rory[/name_m] and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] work great! They both seem like modern favorites with a bit of edge

I’ve been considering adding a second middle name for [name_m]Rory[/name_m] but I’m not sure

It would if you called [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] “Lila”, or if “Rory” was short for [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], but generally [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] and [name_m]Rory[/name_m] are very different.

I would go with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] but one of my bullies was named [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], working on that with my therapist so I can love the name [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] because I like it better than [name_m]Rory[/name_m], but for now I’m sticking with [name_m]Rory[/name_m]

Have to disagree with the consensus here and say they feel very cohesive to me, surprised they feel so different to everyone! When I saw the title I assumed the issue would have to with some sort of pop culture connection, since for some reason I feel like I’ve heard them together before
