[name_m]Long[/name_m] time stalker of this forum but first time poster
My DD is named [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] and my husband and I are trying for our second baby.
We did not decide on my DD name until literally the hour before my csection. We had no boys name as we couldn’t agree so luckily for us she was a girl!
I want to get a head start this time around as choosing a name last time was so stressful.
We have decided on the name [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] if we have a girl which we think goes nicely with our DD name.
However for a boy’s name we have somewhat agreed on [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. But the more I think about it the more I am unsure.
We are both British and we want something classic but we also both have Mediterranean heritage so we liked that [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is a name which you find in the UK as well as Spain and [name_f]Italy[/name_f]. Our surname is also a Latin surname.
I don’t know if [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is too British? Does it fit?
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] sound great together! Very classic and beautiful.
Years ago I’ve met siblings with these names and [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] became my first name love (also adore the name [name_f]Clara[/name_f]), so yes, I think they’re beautiful together.
I do think [name_u]Eliot[/name_u]/[name_u]Eliott[/name_u] would be a little more European but I personally really like the spelling you’d go with.
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is a very appealing name to me. It fits well with your DD. From a British perspective its a fine name,
( not ‘too’ British I don’t think) but whether it has the versatility of your DD’s name to meld with current Spanish or Italian names I don’t think I could answer better than you yourself. I think [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] fits fine with a Latin surname.
I think they go great together, honestly! [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] set. If you’re looking for suggestions–my friend is a [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and if she had been a boy she would have been a [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] or [name_m]Nathanial[/name_m], FWIW
I think [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is a perfect fit with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], if you want something more international leaning how about [name_m]Alessandro[/name_m]? As in [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_m]Alessandro[/name_m]? Otherwise I think [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is perfect.
