Is it completely crazy or does it work? I realise looks wise it’s super different but to me it sounds kinda alright…
(I just love [name_u]Kit[/name_u] but not any longer names it originates from!)

I dont think [name_u]Kit[/name_u] works as a nickname for [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], sorry. You can use [name_u]Kit[/name_u] as one of [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]'s middle names and call him that if you want.
I’m kinda nitpicky about nicknames and where they come from… So no, I don’t think [name_u]Kit[/name_u] works as a nn for [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]. Though I do love both separately!
I’m pretty liberal about nicknames but I’m not really seeing the connection here. However, I do think [name_u]Kit[/name_u] can be a general nickname as it’s a name for a few young animals.
What about [name_m]Cas[/name_m] as a nn? I think [name_u]Kit[/name_u] is reaaally stretching it unfortunately
I’m not sure. I think pretty much anything can emerge as a pet name, so [name_u]Kit[/name_u] isn’t a complete impossibility (especially if the middles help e.g. [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] has the T), but it would more be a family nickname or else have to be included in every introduction. Cip ([name_m]Kip[/name_m]) or [name_m]Cap[/name_m] would be a lot more likely to become a nn.
Bit of a stretch, I like the suggestions of [name_m]Cap[/name_m] and [name_m]Kip[/name_m]
Maybe [name_m]Konstantin[/name_m]/[name_u]Constantine[/name_u], [name_m]Corentin[/name_m], [name_m]Calixto[/name_m], [name_m]Callister[/name_m], [name_m]Carito[/name_m], [name_m]Kitto[/name_m], [name_m]Paquito[/name_m], [name_u]Nikita[/name_u], [name_m]Fitzpatrick[/name_m] ([name_m]Fitzpatrick[/name_m] nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u] would be the cutest thing ever), [name_m]Frankito[/name_m], [name_m]Whittaker[/name_m], Malachite, [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] or [name_m]Becket[/name_m]
Yes, it’s a stretch. The most obvious nickname is really [name_m]Cas[/name_m], but if you don’t like that I third the suggestion of [name_m]Kip[/name_m].
This is me, too.
