Does Lily, Willa, Tessa, and Goldie go together?

not pregnant, not even ready for kids. just wondering does Lily Sue, Willa Faye, Tessa Eve and Goldie Jane go together as sisters?

I think so! [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Willa[/name_f] might get a little mixed up (said as a [name_f]Lily[/name_f] who often got pronounced by the boys I babysit as Wiwwy when they were younger) but they’re all very cohesive and pretty together!

Lily, Willa, and Tessa all seem to go in my opinion. Goldie feels a little too nickname-y for the rest of the sibset; the others don’t need a full name to stand alone but I feel like Goldie does. Maybe…

Dora
Lucy
Christa
Eliza

I actually really like Christa!! I’ve never seen it spelled like that and its super pretty

Mum to a [name_f]Willa[/name_f] who often gets [name_f]Lil[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] as a nickname so I wouldn’t do both [name_f]Willa[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] myself. I also like mixing up endings so [name_f]Willa[/name_f] and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] probably wouldn’t be back to back sibs, though I love both names. I can see the reservation above with [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] - does seem like a youngest child name (they often get the cutest/youngest sounding name). I’m sure [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] alone could work - I might just put it on a middle child!

Aurelia/Marigold (Goldie)

I’ve always loved [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_f]Flora[/name_f]. but with [name_f]Lily[/name_f] I’m not really sure I could make it work with the Sibset. I don’t get how [name_f]Lily[/name_f] could be a nickname for [name_f]Willa[/name_f] so I don’t think it would be to much of a problem

As a mom of more than one kid, I can tell you confidently that “Willy and Lilla” would come out of my mouth quite often in a hurried call to my children. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Willa[/name_f] are very close. But I generally think all the names sound like they could be sisters.

The styles go together, but I wouldn’t have a [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and a [name_f]Willa[/name_f] in the same set. I think they’re too similar and would be confusing.

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Willa[/name_f] are too close for comfort.

I’d tweak the whole set to: [name_f]Lilah[/name_f], [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], [name_f]Tess[/name_f] and [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]

Once you have kids, esp if you’re in a nicknaming culture, you’ll see how all sorts of names can flow from a name. My Willa gets Will/Lala/Laylie/Lil/Lily and even Mina/Minnie (as if her name were actually Willamina). Either way, a Willa and Lily set could easily be Will and Lil which is too matchy for me.

I feel like the first names together (without the middles) kind of sound like dog names. [name_f]My[/name_f] initial instinct was that you had four girl dogs :joy: I think [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] in there makes the set seem dog-ish.

The style is perfectly cohesive, but lily and willa are a bit too close to me- when I say the whole list together they get a bit jumbled!!!

I think I like [name_f]Willa[/name_f], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] & [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] together the best

Some ideas to substitute [name_f]Lily[/name_f]

[name_f]Piper[/name_f] [name_f]Sue[/name_f]
[name_f]Lizzie[/name_f] [name_f]Sue[/name_f]
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_f]Sue[/name_f]
Rosie/Rose [name_f]Sue[/name_f]
[name_f]Marley[/name_f] [name_f]Sue[/name_f]

(And they don’t sound like dog names to me- lol)

I love all four of these names! I would just echo that [name_f]Willa[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] feel too close as siblings. However, I think [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] and [name_f]Willa[/name_f] would be far enough apart, if you are looking for alternatives.
