Does our name go well with our last name?

Our girl name we have picked out is [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Claire[/name] Reccius

Reccius is pronounced as “wreck-shus”.

If this middle name does not go well, what are some suggestions? Please share!

I think it flows nicely.

I like it. [name]Just[/name] be aware that the R sounds at the end of both [name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] run into the R sound at the begging of your surname. That bothers some people, but I don’t really mind it.

[name]Do[/name] you have any suggestions on a middle name with only one syllable that would go good with first and last name?

[name]Jane[/name]
[name]Kate[/name]
[name]Mae[/name]
[name]Grace[/name]
[name]Sage[/name]
[name]Paige[/name]
[name]Blythe[/name]

I like…
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Jane[/name] Reccius
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Eve[/name] Reccius (though the initials on that are EER…sounds like “ear”, not sure if that’s an issue for you)
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Joy[/name] Reccius
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] Reccius
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] Reccius
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Sky[/name] Reccius
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]June[/name] Reccius
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Lark[/name] Reccius

My favorite of the bunch listed is [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Lark[/name], but maybe that’s a bit adventurous vs. [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Claire[/name]…and I’m not sure about the flow of [name]Lark[/name] into Reccius.

My second favorite is [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Joy[/name] Reccius. It sounds very smooth and sweet but strong. I also like [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Jane[/name].

I think it flows perfectly fine.

I love [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Jane[/name] BUT my best friend for years named her daughters middle name that name. :frowning: Any other suggestions that come close to [name]Jane[/name]?

I think [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is lovely. Very sweet and classic. The "R"s don’t bother me, but if it bothers you, them maybe something along the lines of [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Grace[/name] has the same sweetness as [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Claire[/name], with the same classic appeal.

Good luck!
