Does 'Remy' sound like a boy or girl to you?

Does ‘[name_u]Remy[/name_u]’ sound like a boy or girl to you? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like it?

Definitely boy. I think it’s a lovely, handsome name.

I know a little boy with this name and a male colleague of mine is [name_u]Remy[/name_u] as well. Never met a girl. I think it’s boy based on my associations, but I see how it can swing either way. [name_m]Just[/name_m] because a name is being used frequently on girls shouldn’t make you discount it for boys.

All boy to me.

I actually haven’t met any boy Remys. I know three of them, and they’re all girls. 2 of them spell it “[name_u]Remi[/name_u]”, though.

I’ve met a girl [name_u]Remi[/name_u] but I think it’s a unisex name.
We considered it as a potential NN for Ekrem which was on our shortlist for our 2nd son.
If you love it. I’d use it

I really like it. My only personal association with it is as a surname and not a first name, but if I saw it written down without knowing who the name belonged to my automatic assumption would be that they were male, though I wouldn’t be surprised if they were female.

I can see the appeal for both genders but I think I like it better on a boy.

Definitely boy! I do like it, but I like [name_u]Rory[/name_u] a little more, personally. Still a super cute name.

Probably boy tbh, but it’s on my short-list for girls.
It’s very unisex.
