I came across the name Embry the other day and fell in love with it. It wasn’t until I checked out the nameberry page that I remembered it was the name of a character in Twilight. I wouldn’t want to use the name if there’s still a strong Twilight connection. Am I alone in forgetting about that character or has everyone else forgotten too?
I only read the first [name_u]Twilight[/name_u] book (and never saw the movies) and didn’t remember [name_u]Embry[/name_u]. I feel like [name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_m]Edward[/name_m] and Renesme are the names most associated with [name_u]Twilight[/name_u].
I voted yes, mostly because it’s the only place I’ve ever heard the name.
I don’t think it’ll be an issue though. To the general public, he’s probably not a well-known character.
I am guilty of being a twighlight movies lover, I watch the movies almost once a year, and can’t remember an embry. Wouldn’t sweat it!
I’ve never seen or read any [name_u]Twilight[/name_u] movies or books, but I had no idea there was an [name_u]Embry[/name_u] in there anywhere.
If you feel like the association is too close, [name_u]Ember[/name_u] is a favorite of mine and it’s really close! Such a cute name
I feel like [name_f]Em[/name_f] names are very on trend right now which has really decreased the association

Im not the biggest twilight die hard fan but I have read the books and have no memory of an [name_u]Embry[/name_u] being in there. The name is cute but probably especially because I’m pregnant every time I hear it I want to say Embryo!
I voted yes, but only because that’s the first place I heard the name, and instantly fell in love with it! I’m surprised other former big fans dont remember him, because I loved his character 
anyway, definitely dont think there’s a huge [name_u]Twilight[/name_u] association with the name. He was very minor, and either way, [name_u]Twilight[/name_u] isnt as well known as it once was!

I’m not a big twilight fan. I have seen the movies but don’t remember a character named [name_u]Embry[/name_u] at all.
The first thing I thought was that it sounds like a ‘smoosh’ name between [name_u]Ember[/name_u] and [name_u]Emery[/name_u].
I read those books when they came out and I didn’t remember Embry at all.
Oh wow, I used to be obsessed with [name_u]Twilight[/name_u] and I didn’t even remember there was a character called [name_u]Embry[/name_u]!
I actually have another really strong association for the name and that’s the actor [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] [name_u]Embry[/name_u] who was in one of my fave movies, Empire Records.
