Does this count as sleeping through the night?

What counts as a baby sleeping through the night?

My baby [name_m]Walter[/name_m] is 4 months (19 weeks) old, and last night I think he may have slept through the night? I started feeding him at 8:40pm, and he fed until 9:20pm when he fell asleep. I put him in his cot at 10pm, and he slept all the way to 4:45am when he opened his eyes and cooed. Dummy was put straight his mouth, and he was back asleep and slept till 5:30am, and then I fed him at 5:40am.
So from the start of his night feed to the start of his morning feed, was 9 hours!
Does this count as him sleeping through the night? I didn’t think it did, but my husband thinks it does and that I should put it into his baby book.

Thanks!

If he was in his cot nearly 7 hours without waking, I definitely would celebrate and count that as sleeping through the night! I would write it in his book as sleeping through the night and write how many hours it was.

Oh my goodness!!! Well done mummy and daddy - that is one good baby! Congrats!

I would celebrate it as sleeping through the night!

That counts! Great job, little man!

Heck yeah, go [name_m]Walter[/name_m]! I say put it in the book!
