Does this first/middle name combo work?

Would having a first and middle name be two different animals be a clash? Like if they had an animal first name and a common middle name, but the meaning of the middle name was a different animal?

I think as long as it sounds nice and flows it’ll be good!

I think it’s fine, most people wouldn’t even notice

I think it’s totally fine if the middle name has an animal meaning! As long as it’s not literally two animals like [name_u]Fox[/name_u] [name_u]Wolf[/name_u] Lastname.

If it’s wasn’t too obvious it could definitely work. Personally I wouldn’t do [name_u]Fox[/name_u] [name_u]Leo[/name_u], for example, but [name_u]Fox[/name_u] [name_m]Castor[/name_m] would be alright.

Oh totally fine! [name_u]Tiger[/name_u] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] is one thing (doesn’t work) but [name_u]Cricket[/name_u] [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] or [name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_u]Arthur[/name_u]? Those are just absolutely cool names! I definitely doubt anyone would notice without being promoted—and I doubt even further they’d speak up upon meeting [name_u]Cricket[/name_u] [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] or [name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_u]Arthur[/name_u]. :woman_shrugging:t2: It’s a ‘fun fact’ for a game of two truths and a lie more than anything.

I think it’s fine since the middle is a ‘namey-name’

Thanks for the answers everyone! The name is Fox Jonah with Jonah meaning dove. It’s the name I’m thinking about changing my babys name to.

Oh wow, F0x J0nah is totally excellent! I think that one’s certainly subtle. I only know J0nah to mean “dove” from spending a bunch of time here on Nameberry.

I definitely think it depends on the name. I see no problem. With [name_u]Fox[/name_u] [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] but I would have a harder time with [name_u]Fox[/name_u] [name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m]
