Does this name flow?

I love the name [name]Gretchen[/name], but I’m not sure [name]Gretchen[/name] [name]Tara[/name] (Tar-uh) flows well. If you don’t think it does, could you suggest some first names for [name]Tara[/name]?

I dont know you last name but [name]Gretchen[/name] [name]Tara[/name] is nice

I think maybe those two names have too many harder sounds in them to be together. Also they are both two syllables. I love gretchen so if you can live without [name]Tara[/name] maybe

[name]Gretchen[/name] [name]Cecelia[/name]
[name]Gretchen[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]
[name]Gretchen[/name] [name]Leticia[/name]
[name]Gretchen[/name] [name]Felicity[/name]

I’m not a fan of the two of them together. Can you figure out what it is about [name]Gretchen[/name] that you like and find another name with similar qualities? Is it the G sound, so [name]Geneive[/name] or [name]Gabriella[/name], etc? or is it the -en ending? There are tons of names with that…[name]Vivien[/name], [name]Lauren[/name]…

[name]Just[/name] my two cents’ worth, but I like [name]Gretchen[/name] a lot and don’t like [name]Tara[/name]–to me it’s very dated and tied to the 1970s and also makes me think of Gone with the Wind and I think there are much better options from that film if that’s the association you’re after. Of course, if you love it, you love it.

I really like names that aren’t super girly or have tomboyish nicknames, and I think [name]Gretchen[/name] fits in with that. Honestly, I prefer [name]Gretchen[/name] to [name]Tara[/name], but [name]Tara[/name] is my mom’s name, and I would like to try to use it. I actually really dislike Gone with the Wind.

Names like [name]Gretchen[/name]:
[name]Ingrid[/name], [name]Claudia[/name], [name]Adelaide[/name]. [name]Adelaide[/name] [name]Tara[/name] is the best but since you like [name]Gretchen[/name], maybe you don’t need other names like it. I actually think that there’s nothing objectionable about the flow of [name]Gretchen[/name] [name]Tara[/name]. [name]Gretchen[/name] is a great name that fits your criteria and you’re happy to honor your mom with [name]Tara[/name]. I say go with it!
