Does this name go with our last name?

I have always loved the name “[name_m]Graham[/name_m]” for a boy. But since I’m now married with the last name “[name_m]Crawford[/name_m]” I’m worried that kids might tease if we name him [name_m]Graham[/name_m] by calling him “[name_m]Graham[/name_m] Cracker”. Is this something you associate with this name combo or I am worrying for nothing?

I think [name_m]Graham[/name_m] is a perfectly usable name. If the cracker association bothers you, you could change it to [name_m]Graeham[/name_m], Greyham or [name_m]Graeme[/name_m].

I do not think it would be a problem. [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Crawford[/name_m] sounds lovely. I don’t really care for the unusual spellings of [name_m]Graham[/name_m] that were mentioned.

It is fine! [name_m]Graham[/name_m] cracker may be said a time or two as a term of endearment, as I can visualize perhaps from someone close, but I wouldn’t worry about that as it wouldn’t end up being a nickname. We have friends who occasionally say “[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] banana” to their daughter but only as a fun thing and she is only known as [name_f]Hannah[/name_f].

I hadn’t thought of [name_m]Graham[/name_m] cracker until you mentioned it; [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Crawford[/name_m] is awfully handsome! I think it’s a non-issue. Good luck!

[name_m]Graham[/name_m] Cracker is such a benign little association. I could see it as a cutsey inside joke among friends and family. But how could you bully or belittle someone because of that? Impossible. It’s totally harmless and [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Crawford[/name_m] is 100% respectable and usable.

Sounds great!!

I think it sounds great! I think very very few people would think of graham cracker when they hear graham crawford.

[name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Crawford[/name_m] sounds fine.

[name_m]Graham[/name_m] is perfectly usable…kids will find a way to tease whatever the name!
