Does this nickname sound stupid?

[name]Claudia[/name] nn [name]Clia[/name]. I mean I think we’d all agree it works (it does doesn’t it? haha), it’s kind of like [name]Cora[/name] for [name]Cordelia[/name], but I don’t know if it sounds dumb or not. I love the name [name]Claudia[/name] and I love the name [name]Clea[/name], so I figured maybe this would be a cool way of getting both. It would be spelled [name]Clia[/name] and not have the same meaning behind it etc, but I don’t really mind I just like the way it sounds. But somehow it just strikes me as people would think I’m trying to be way too creative. What do you guys think?

I think [name]Clia[/name] could work as a nickname for [name]Claudia[/name], yet I always think in the [name]Renault[/name] [name]Clio[/name] car.

I think it works. Not to far removed at all!

But is it stupid? Like does it sound like I’m trying too hard? Haha

[name]Claudia[/name] “[name]Clia[/name]”? Sure, it could work. As easily as [name]Claudie[/name] can work. I just wouldn’t do it, haha. I think [name]Claudia[/name]'s too lovely to shorten, and I think [name]Dia[/name] would be more natural than [name]Clia[/name], but I don’t think it’s weird or anything. I think it’d be a fun casual nn.

I think it works. I love [name]Claudia[/name]-- I actually recently heard it on a girl and fell in love with it. [name]Clia[/name] is a cute nickname

[name]Clia[/name] is cute and it works.

I think it works! I knew a [name]Sophia[/name] once who was called [name]Pia[/name] for short - same kind of thing.
