Does this sound awful?

[name]Rachel[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name]?

I recently fell for [name]Hazel[/name], but, for me, it feels better as a MN I think. [name]Rachel[/name] was one of the names I liked with [name]Hazel[/name], but I’m not sure if [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] really works. Swapping it to [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] seems like an easy solution, but I really prefer the [name]Rachel[/name] _____ [name]Evangeline[/name] order. [name]Rachel[/name] and [name]Evangeline[/name], as names, are set, and honor family.

Thanks, ladies!

Although I think [name]Hazel[/name] is a cute name, I think [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] rhymes too much to be used right after the other :frowning:

I think the flow of [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] is off, though I do like both names in other contexts!

Sorry, but [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] is pretty rhymey :frowning: I am not a fan of [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] either because that just seems like a lot of name and then with an LN on top of that I just think it would be too much. I think 7-8 syllables is max for me, maybe 9 if the flow is really good but this would be 10 :frowning: I think [name]Hazel[/name] would sound better somewhere else. I still really like [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] that you were thinking in the beginning

Oh man, this reminds me of my own name.
I have two middle names as well, and the first middle name rhymes with my first name. My second middle name is not as long as [name]Evangeline[/name] though.
Think [name]Maria[/name] [name]Aliyah[/name] [name]Lauren[/name].

It’s kind of “clunky” or rather…too much. But if you love it, you can still do it. It’s not THAT bad.

I don’t know how I keep doing this to myself. I completely fell in love with [name]Eleni[/name] [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Rue[/name], too, and it’s just as bad.

[name]Rachel[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] is my original [name]Rachel[/name] combo (also considering [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Zara[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name]), and I’ve been considering [name]Arianne[/name] [name]Hazel[/name], [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Hazel[/name], and [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Hazel[/name], too. But something seems to be off about all of them.

Does anyone have any other ideas for a FN for [name]Hazel[/name]? My girls’ list is [name]Isabelle[/name], [name]Arianne[/name], [name]Olivia[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Liliana[/name], and [name]Rachel[/name], if that gives you an idea of my style. For one reason or another, though, I don’t like [name]Isabelle[/name], [name]Violet[/name], and [name]Liliana[/name] with [name]Hazel[/name]…

I vastly prefer [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name]! It just has a lot better flow [name]IMO[/name]. [name]Even[/name] though it is the same amount of initials it just does not seem like it

What about [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]? I know you were considering [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] but this could work too! If you are not sure about [name]Clara[/name] in that combo either, I think [name]Clara[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] would be nice as well! Some others you might like:
[name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Justine[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Penelope[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Cecilia[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Cecily[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Camilla[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Annika[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] (though this might be a little too harsh)
[name]Sophia[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Sophie[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Catherine[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Tamsin[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Dahlia[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Antonia[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Anya[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]

[name]Hope[/name] that helps

Thanks! I’ve been thinking about [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Hazel[/name], but I generally don’t end up loving [name]Madeleine[/name] and [name]Sophie[/name] quite enough to add them to my short list. They usually land near the end of my top 20, which doesn’t help, since there’s no way I’m having 20 kids, much less 20 girls, lol. I do like [name]Annika[/name] [name]Hazel[/name], and [name]Annika[/name] is quite close to making it to my top 10, so that might be a better option. [name]Annika[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Claire[/name]? I always thought I would use [name]Claire[/name] with [name]Annika[/name]. I think I actually like [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] more, though.

And I knew you’d love [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] more, lol.

Well, I think [name]Eleni[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] would be pretty actually.
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] are nice as well. [name]Livia[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] too.

What about [name]Lilia[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] instead of [name]Liliana[/name]? [name]Liliana[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] is still pretty, but just another suggestion.

[name]Olivia[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] is a pretty high contender. I like it better than [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Hazel[/name], I think. I just don’t know if I can give up [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Wren[/name] [name]Camille[/name]… I am completely in love with that combo!

[name]Lilia[/name]… it’s pretty, but not really an option. If I used a [name]Lily[/name] name, it would be [name]Liliana[/name]. The [name]Lili[/name] part honors one grandmother, and the ana part honors the other. [name]Lilia[/name] would only honor the one grandmother. [name]Lilia[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] is pretty, though.

I totally agree with someone else’s suggestion of [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] - that is just TOO gorgeous! [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Arianne[/name], maybe? Otherwise you could probably get away with switching the order - [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Hazel[/name].

I have two middle names. I find that having a second mn is nothing more than a hassle when filling out forms. I never say it out loud otherwise. I’m unsure if others find this, but I thought I’d share my experience with you anyway. I think all your names are lovely but I think you should select two names only. As a little girl I always found my whole name so much of a mouthful and so much longer than anyone else’s name. I really like your [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] combo. I also love the name [name]Hazel[/name]. Is there any chance you would use [name]Hazel[/name] as a fn? [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] is so gorgeous. In fact, if it’s OK with you, it’s going on my list!

I like [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name]. It reminds me very much of Victorian names which frequently utilized a rhyme or alliteration within a first/2-middle combination. [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] would probably be even more Victorian because that would fit in both trends of the time. The 4-syllable, somewhat clunky [name]Evangeline[/name] on the end of this set makes it feel slightly more modern and unexpected because it doesn’t completely follow the Victorian trend. It’s the kind of name I could see my friend who is a Victorian literature major using.

Thank you for your opinion and your personal experience, but I am definitely keeping two MNs. I’ve had about a dozen people give me the same opinion as you have just given me, but there are a dozen others who have shared why they like having two MNs, and I have a million and one reasons why I’d like to use two MNs for my future children. I’m pretty adamant about it, lol.

As for [name]Hazel[/name], yes, I did consider it as a FN. It still might be a possibility, but finding a MN for it is a huge headache, as [name]Hazel[/name] is one of those names I don’t really like it with anything. The only thing I really like is [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Isabella[/name], and since [name]Isabelle[/name] is my top choice for a girl, I’m not sure I really want to use it. Usually, if I like nothing else, at least I can fall back to [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Elisabeth[/name], but I don’t even really like that. I’m honestly considering dropping [name]Hazel[/name]. I really like it, but I can’t really imagine using it unless it was a MN on my short list, and I don’t really love it with [name]Isabelle[/name], [name]Arianne[/name], [name]Olivia[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Liliana[/name], etc. I do like [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name], which is the last name on my short list, but I think I prefer [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Zara[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] or [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name], honestly. The other FNs that complete out my top 10–[name]Eleni[/name], [name]Daphne[/name], and [name]Hannah[/name]–I don’t know. I had considered [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] something or other when I decided on my combo, but I like [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Imogen[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] more. I don’t like [name]Eleni[/name] [name]Hazel[/name], and I don’t really like [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Hazel[/name], either…

lol, feel free to take [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name]. I briefly considered it since I do like [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name], so I thought I might grow to like just [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Grace[/name] or something, but I still don’t love it. If I use [name]Hazel[/name], it’ll probably be for [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name], if I use that, even.

[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] is perfect!

Its a little rhymey. [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Wren[/name] would be stunning, as would [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]

Hmm, I don’t know. When I first thought about it, [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] were my two highest contenders, but I don’t really like them anymore. I’m leaning toward either keeping [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name], or not keeping [name]Hazel[/name] at all. It just seems to be too much trouble than it’s worth. I love it, but I just can’t seem to make it work to my satisfaction.

[name]Rachel[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] is actually kind of quirky chic! I really like it on some levels. I like [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Zara[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] too.

What about [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Arianna[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name]? I think thats pretty gorgeous too! Or [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Wren[/name]…

Also I really like [name]Annika[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] as well! [name]Annika[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Clare[/name] is pretty. [name]Annika[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Aili[/name] is super gorgeous! (I can’t remember how you spelled your version of [name]Aili[/name] (Eye-lee) This is just how my neices is spelled. :p) [name]Annika[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Aili[/name] would be my choice for sure.

You mean [name]Eilidh[/name]? It’s said AY-lee not EYE-lee though. But lately I have been considering it more since I just found it’s a variation of my little sister’s MN. I am not sure I really love [name]Annika[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Eilidh[/name], though… it’s a bit “AY” heavy, and the names seem a bit mismatched.

I think you’re the only other one that saw [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name]'s appeal, haha.
