I love the name [name]Alice[/name]. I have for years. It has all good assocations for me (especially the [name]Alice[/name] in Wonderland connection, which has been a favorite book of mine since I was twelve). I’m really liking [name]Alice[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]. It sounds so vintagy and sweet and feminine but it’s not overtly frilly either. But does it work together with both names being so short?
I think it works great together.
Especially since [name]Alice[/name] is 2 syllables and [name]Pearl[/name] is 1, that always lends to a nice flow.
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] is a fine combo. You have to decide what is more important: the look or the sound of the combo. Yes, ideally a longer mn would look better but with the 2-1 syllable count it does sound good.
My other problem is I really like [name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] or [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] so I don’t know 100% which name I’d want to use [name]Pearl[/name] with.
I like the sound of [name]Alice[/name] [name]Pearl[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Pearl[/name], and [name]Alice[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name]. (Sorry, I’m not much help. :P) [name]Alice[/name] and [name]Beatrice[/name] are very similar sounding names due to the -ice (-is) ending so it really comes down to whether you like [name]Beatrice[/name] or [name]Alice[/name] more.
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]… it sounds so polished and pretty, and yet simple. Fine choice for a combo, I think. Honestly, I don’t think the short length of it makes a difference, as long as it sounds nice is what really matters.
