I like [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] a lot and the nickname [name_m]Donnie[/name_m].
But the problem is I think the ending sounds very similar to other names I like ([name_m]Finnegan[/name_m]/[name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]/[name_u]Jameson[/name_u]).
WDYT?

I was noticing the other day that you seem to love a lot of -n ending names! I didn’t really know there were so many -n Irish names, but they seem to be very common ([name_u]Aidan[/name_u], [name_m]Ciaran[/name_m], [name_m]Cillian[/name_m], [name_m]Kevin[/name_m], [name_m]Ronan[/name_m], etc., too!). I do love [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] a lot, and think [name_m]Donny[/name_m]'s pretty cute. I think it’d make a great addition to your list, and [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] and [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] (although matchy) are pretty adorable together!
I adore [name_m]Donovan[/name_m]. It’s uncommon, but familiar.
I know I definitely do! The only names on my list that really deviate from that are [name_m]Cormac[/name_m], [name_u]Rhys[/name_u], [name_m]Seamus[/name_m] and [name_m]Malachy[/name_m]. But I think the fact that the nicknames are somewhat different sounding really helps ([name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_u]Sully[/name_u], [name_u]Jem[/name_u], [name_m]Donnie[/name_m], etc.) I really like [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] a lot too…that’s on my long list
That’s pretty much what I like about it, plus the easy nickname (we’re huge on having a good nickname in this family.) [name_m]Even[/name_m] our dogs [name_m]Zeus[/name_m] and Mister are [name_f]ZuZu[/name_f] and Mitah almost all the time.
Your dogs have cool names!
I also like [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] I think the nn [name_u]Van[/name_u] is quite cool as well
Thank you
Knowing so many people with this last name, [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] sounds like a surname too me. I do love the nn [name_m]Donnie[/name_m], but I’d use [name_m]Donald[/name_m] over [name_m]Donovan[/name_m]. And for a girl [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] or [name_f]Donna[/name_f].
