Dorothy Jane Marie

so Dorothy Jane Marie is one of my most meaningful honor names for me. Dorothy is the name of my grandmothers favorite doll growing up, I am going to be getting the doll in a few months when I go to Australia. Jane is after one of my favorite cousins who babysat me a lot when I was growing up. and Marie is a family name for me.

what do you guys think? does it go with Caitlyn Diana Hope, Vanessa Leanne Estelle, Lawrence Michael Dean, Eloise Georgia Mae, and Camilla Frances Pearl?

(the Sibset would be Dottie, Cait, Ness, Law, Ellie, and Cami)

I think that [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is very elegant, classic and vintage. I personally wouldn’t use it, but it sounds lovely and flows well.

I don’t think it really goes with your other names, but you could probably make it work.

I think it goes great! I really like all three names and they work well together.

[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is classic, strong and elegant, but with a sort of lively feeling too, especially with nn [name_f]Dottie[/name_f]

[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is a great name - my only issue is that I have a toddler sister and my current immediate association with [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] is [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] the Dinosaur

I like this name a lot! I would probably prefer the combo if there was a more “young” sounding name in the mix somewhere. also prefer [name_f]Mary[/name_f] to [name_u]Marie[/name_u]

@KT4 I’m guessing you also live in Australia because I don’t think the Wiggles is well-known anywhere else :joy:… please correct me if I’m wrong!

@namelover55 Yep, it’s a staple in my house at the moment :joy: I believe they’ve been doing some tours in the US & [name_f]Canada[/name_f] but I’d also assume Australia would be one of the only places it’s a well known reference!

I’m in [name_u]America[/name_u], but my mom is Australian. I grew up watching the Wiggles and now my niece (she’s actually my cousins baby but she calls me Auntie Violet) watches the Wiggles.
