Dose Lola Louise sound ok together?

My husband and I like the name [name]Lola[/name] for our baby girl, but we would really like to use the name [name]Louise[/name] as her middle name. Does it sound funny together? Our other choices for first names are [name]Marlowe[/name], [name]Ada[/name], [name]Jules[/name], and [name]Maeve[/name]. Thanks for you opinion!

[name]Lola[/name] [name]Louise[/name] reminds me a name the girlfriend of a [name]Marvel[/name] Comic Superhero would have.
I know that [name]Lola[/name] isn’t a traditional nn for [name]Louise[/name] but I could see a [name]Louisa[/name] go by [name]Lola[/name] so to me personally it feels a bit odd.

I really like [name]Ada[/name] [name]Louise[/name] or [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] (nn [name]Lola[/name]?) as alternatives.

It’s cute, but it’s kind of hard to say because of the L’s together. I also like [name]Ada[/name], I think [name]Ada[/name] [name]Louise[/name] is really sweet.

It’s very alliterative- and a bit repetative. I could see [name]Lola[/name] as a nickname for [name]Louise[/name], so it’s a bit odd. I second the idea of [name]Ada[/name] [name]Louise[/name], or even [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Maeve[/name].

I agree with the pps. I’ve heard of [name]Louise[/name]/[name]Louisa[/name] getting the nn [name]Lola[/name], so [name]Lola[/name] [name]Louise[/name] feels very repetitive to me. I love alliteration, but I think it’s just too alliterative/cutesy here. I think something like [name]Louisa[/name] _____ nn [name]Lola[/name], or as others have said, [name]Ada[/name] [name]Louise[/name], would be gorgeous (or even [name]Ada[/name] [name]Louisa[/name]?). Or even [name]Lola[/name] with a separate MN–[name]Lola[/name] [name]Maeve[/name], [name]Lola[/name] [name]Marlow[/name], or even [name]Lola[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]/[name]Juliana[/name]/[name]Julia[/name]/[name]Julietta[/name]? More substantial than [name]Jules[/name], but [name]Lola[/name] [name]Jules[/name] seems very cutesy and informal to me. Still cute, though.

I think the smooshing l-sounds are a bit much. I do, however, love the idea of [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] nn [name]Lola[/name] or even [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] nn [name]Lola[/name]. Good luck!

I beg to differ…I [name]LOVE[/name] this combo!

Not a good match, sorry.

[name]Ada[/name] [name]Louise[/name] is positively lovely, however!

Same here. I like the combo.
