My husband and I are pretty set on our boy’s name, but I wanted to get some expert opinions. :wink: I have always loved what you all call “double barrel” names. My husband has one, and we know a little boy named [name]Marc[/name] [name]Anton[/name] who is adorable. So, what do you think of [name]Mikel[/name] [name]Kai[/name]?

DH is [name]Miguel[/name] [name]Angel[/name] (for English speakers, he just goes by [name]Miguel[/name]) - [name]Mikel[/name] is the Basque version of [name]Miguel[/name] (husband’s side). [name]Kai[/name] is a pretty international name but we love that it is [name]German[/name] (for my side) and its different meanings. I just love the combination of [name]Mikel[/name] [name]Kai[/name] and want to insist on using both. Big sister is [name]Adele[/name] [name]Elisa[/name].

Thoughts or suggestions?

i think these two names sound great together. i have kai on my short list as well.

What about [name]Malachi[/name]? Its all I can think of when I hear [name]Mikel[/name] [name]Kai[/name]. I think the Ks run into each other a little bit but its not bad.
