While I adore double barreled first names, these all seem a bit, excessive almost?
Almost too long to be used as a double barreled choice, to the point of looking and sounding a bit odd. The only one I’d say flows well would be [name_f]Aliyah[/name_f]-[name_f]Jane[/name_f].
I’d opt for [name_f]Ava[/name_f]-[name_f]Valentina[/name_f], [name_f]Ana[/name_f]-[name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_f]Marie[/name_f]-Fredericke, [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f], or [name_f]Sara[/name_f]-[name_f]Jane[/name_f].
I think in order for double barreled first names to work, both names should ideally be fairly short, like [name_f]Mary[/name_f]-[name_f]Kate[/name_f] or [name_f]Anna[/name_f]-[name_u]Jo[/name_u]. I think the ones on your list are too long and, as someone above said, slightly excessive. I only have one double-barreled name on my list and it’s [name_f]Ava[/name_f]-[name_f]Jane[/name_f]. Short and simple works for me.
I don’t think the ones you’ve listed really work very well together. Full disclosure–I’m not much of a fan of double barreled names in the first place.
I once knew a [name_u]Whitney[/name_u]-[name_f]Beth[/name_f], and while her name was relatively short and simple, it was still a mouthful. So, in my opinion, [name_u]Eden[/name_u]-[name_u]Genesis[/name_u] and [name_f]Trinity[/name_f]-[name_f]Ruth[/name_f] are waaaay too much name!
I only really like [name_f]Trinity[/name_f]-[name_f]Ruth[/name_f]. The other names don’t flow well, I think, especially Li-[name_f]Mai[/name_f], which just looks awkward to me. [name_f]Aliyah[/name_f]-[name_f]Jane[/name_f] is getting there, but the others just have an awkward flow. Sorry!
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] double names, but I don’t think any of yours flow very well. Double names don’t necessarily have to both be super short, but I just don’t like how yours are paired/sound together.
