Double First Names

I am wondering about giving myself a double first name. What do you think about double names in general? Would you hyphenate? Would you smoosh the names together? Is there any other way for having a double first name? [name_m]How[/name_m] would you write a double first name?

My name is [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and I would be keeping [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] as the first part of my name if I were to have a double first name. Three names I am considering pairing with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] are [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f].

One thing I would want though is both names to be used in daily life. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think people would call me [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] for example or would they just call me [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] do you think?

Thanks in advance.

They would probably call you [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] as a nickname, but [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] in general. It does depend on the name itself, though.

These are so common where I live. I like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] from your options. Something to consider: hyphens don’t appear on official documents, so [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_f]Kate[/name_f] would be Lucykate.
