My first name is [name_f]Mary[/name_f]-[name_f]Helen[/name_f], my sister has the middle name [name_f]Fayth[/name_f]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f], and my cousin’s name is [name_f]Ella[/name_f]-[name_f]May[/name_f]. For my daughter I am also considering a hyphenated first or middle name and I wanted to know everyones opinion on hyphenated names in general as well as your opinions on a couple hyphenated names that I have thought up.
Also, please tell me of any hyphenated names that you like.
I’m not personally a fan if hyphenated names. But you have one… So if it’s caused no burden on your life I think your opinion means a lot more than mine.
I like [name_f]Maya[/name_f]-[name_u]Wren[/name_u]. Thedosia is just so long on its own I think incorporating it into a double barrel name or adding a double middle name is a bit much.
Not a big fan in general, but some work. Personally, I’d rather find a name that incorporated two names into one. I like the idea of double middle names though. I don’t see the point of hyphenating them though. [name_m]Just[/name_m] go with two middle names
I definitely don’t mind double names, and prefer hyphenated to other compound options.
I love [name_f]Theodosia[/name_f] and [name_u]Wren[/name_u] but think [name_f]Theodosia[/name_f] is already a love if name without being a double barrel, so my vote would be to have a double barreled middle with [name_u]Wren[/name_u].
[name_f]Theodosia[/name_f] [name_f]Constance[/name_f]-[name_u]Wren[/name_u] is the best of your list this far but I think constance may be a bit heavy for a double barrel. Something a little lighter/sweeter might work better.
