[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_m]Fitz[/name_m], but I think the combos with [name_u]Grey[/name_u] sound best. I would def use at least one family name, so that eliminates [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]. Leaving:
Alder [name_m]Franklin[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] - prob my favorite.
Alder [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] - nice too.
Alder [name_u]Marion[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] - 2nd fave flow-wise, but I chose [name_m]Franklin[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] for its masculinity.
thanks everyone! it’s pretty close! we’re having a hard time deciding! i love the idea of honoring both our fathers, but it seems like a mouthful “everett ross”. my husband is in love with marion fitz/grey, but with Alder, although masculine, it is definitely a softer name in my opinion and pairing it with marion grey/fitz doesn’t add any more strength to it. It is lovely though, hmm. My grandfather :: fitz :: is dying of cancer and I know it would mean a lot to my mother and her family, but [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is very lovely too and was our first choice…along with the masculine [name_m]Franklin[/name_m]… [name_m]Quinlan[/name_m] was a contender for a first name and when i retired it my sister grabbed ahold and declared she’d name her future son this …now you can’t claim names, but i feel bad “taking it back” … man this seems almost harder than the first name! Thanks for your input/votes!
My favorite combination isn’t an option in the poll: Alder [name_m]Franklin[/name_m] [name_m]Ross[/name_m]. I like that it honors both sides of his family and has a very handsome ring to it.
Sorry I missed the discussion about Alder, I rather like it! [name_u]Alden[/name_u]/[name_f]Aldan[/name_f] was a favorite of mine until [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] hit the charts, so it is seems familiar and beloved.
