Double Middle Name

I am 31 weeks and I am having difficulty with the name I chose for my baby girl. I was pretty set on [name]Everly[/name] [name]Alice[/name] [name]Claire[/name] for a while. Now, I am second guessing [name]Everly[/name]. [name]Claire[/name] is pretty much fixed as the middle name. My oldest daughter’s initials are [name]CAE[/name]; which is why [name]Alice[/name] was added (also some personal references) and EAC played off her initals. Lately, I’ve been favoring [name]Avery[/name]. Despite the fact, it is an A name and rising in popularity (two things I wanted to avoid). However, it would simply be [name]Avery[/name] [name]Claire[/name]. I’ve been debating if I wanted to try for similar double initials. An E name I like is [name]Eden[/name]. [name]Avery[/name] [name]Eden[/name] [name]Claire[/name]. I am not so sure about the flow. I’ve considered [name]Eden[/name] as a first name. However, the

  • den in both [name]Ca[/name]dence and Eden throw me off a bit. [name]Eden[/name] [name]Avery[/name] [name]Claire[/name]. Should I try to replicate the intials if I change my mind or is it trying to hard?

Also, just as a side, what do you think of [name]Gemma[/name] [name]Leigh[/name] [name]Claire[/name]? [name]Gemma[/name] is another name I had considered. Now, just as a note, take this as a separate discussion. I’m just curious about the double middle name. I know [name]Gemma[/name] is generally more liked than [name]Everly[/name] or [name]Avery[/name]. I am not sure about [name]Eden[/name]. But, this isn’t connected to the names above. I am wondering about the flow because I like having a possible name to honor my FIL. He passed away 4 year ago around the same time our daughter is due. His middle name was [name]Lee[/name].

I like that you’re honoring your FIL- and I think you should keep the name [name]Leigh[/name] in there somewhere. If you want to avoid the rise in popularity of [name]Avery[/name], you could try something like [name]Waverly[/name]. I think the name [name]Waverly[/name] [name]Claire[/name] sounds pretty, and you could throw in the [name]Alice[/name] if you like. [name]Waverly[/name] even covers the [name]Leigh[/name] part of your FIL’s name.
[name]Waverly[/name] [name]Alice[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Waverly[/name] [name]Gemma[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Waverly[/name] [name]Claire[/name] [name]Eden[/name]

What do you think?

I have considered [name]Waverly[/name]. It was one of my choices for a while and went well with my daughter [name]Cadence[/name]. I ended up vetoing it and going with [name]Everly[/name].

I can’t say that I’m really a fan of [name]Eden[/name] [name]Avery[/name] [name]Claire[/name] - the flow just seems choppy to me, and I don’t think you should feel compelled to have your daughters’ initials be the same or even play off each other.

That being said, I’m still a big fan of [name]Gemma[/name], and I think [name]Gemma[/name] [name]Leigh[/name] [name]Claire[/name] would be a nice way to honor your FIL.
