Double name- Mary Morgan

We live in the south where double names are common. I know it’s not for everyone, but I just wanted to get some feedback on this less common double name. I love [name]Mary[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], but it’s so predictable. [name]Mary[/name] is my grandmother’s name and [name]Morgan[/name] is my husband’s great grandmother’s maiden name. We love that this double name will honor both sides of the family.
What are your thoughts on [name]Mary[/name] [name]Morgan[/name]? Hyphen or no hyphen?

Big sister is [name]Allison[/name], nn [name]Ally[/name]

I think that [name]Mary[/name] [name]Morgan[/name] is a really pretty name. I would definitely go for it! And it goes well with your other daughter’s name. I would not use a hyphen, but that’s just me.

I love [name]Mary[/name] and I love the idea of a double name, but I really don’t like [name]Morgan[/name]. It sounds so 90s and I really don’t like unisex names for girls. It’s pretty drab next to [name]Mary[/name]. Are there any other names from your husbands side you can use? If not I’d suggest-

[name]Mary[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Helena[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Sara[/name]

I kinda like it. I’m not super fond of the whole idea of double names, but as they go I think [name]Mary[/name] [name]Morgan[/name] is a nice one. Though it does sound a bit like a first and last.

I like [name]Mary[/name] [name]Morgan[/name], but because of the hard G sound, it’s somewhat hard to say. I like the idea of honoring family though-- what about [name]Margot[/name], [name]Margaret[/name], [name]Miriam[/name], [name]Marjolaine[/name], [name]Moira[/name], [name]Marian[/name]/[name]Marion[/name], [name]Marianne[/name], instead?

[name]Mary[/name] [name]Morgan[/name] is very Southern. I like the meaning that both names have to you, so I’ll give this one a thumbs up.

I love it, reminds me sound-wise of [name]Mary[/name] [name]Margaret[/name], but with a fresh spin on it. I think it’s definitely workable.
