What do you think of the name [name_u]Dove[/name_u]? More likely used as a middle name.
Is it pretty? Or ridiculous? Or just meh?
I like it fine as a middle name! I’m not generally a fan of English words as names, but it’s not bad in the middle. Alternatively, there’s the name [name_f]Doveva[/name_f], or names that mean dove, like [name_f]Paloma[/name_f].
I really like it as a middle. I think it can really spice up the right first, e.g. I have [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u] on my list. It’s pretty and I like the imagery it evokes.
[name_u]Dove[/name_u], I like it, except that it also functions as the past form of ‘dive’. I think if [name_u]Wren[/name_u] or [name_u]Raven[/name_u] can be considered beautiful names, why not [name_u]Dove[/name_u]? Are you thinking a longer or shorter first name? I say go for it!
I think it’s a great middle name, especially with a longer more feminine first name. For example, I love the combo above, [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u]!
I love [name_u]Dove[/name_u]! I like it as a first name, but I definitely prefer it as a middle name. Some pairings with [name_u]Dove[/name_u] I really like are: [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u], [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u], and [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u].
It’s grown on me. My kids love [name_u]Dove[/name_u] [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] from the Disney [name_f]Channel[/name_f]

I agree with everyone else — it doesn’t seem serious as a first name, but it’s gorgeous in the middle.

I must add that I love the pp combo [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u]! (I don’t usually prefer [name_f]Camilla[/name_f], but I love it with [name_u]Dove[/name_u]!)
[name_u]Dove[/name_u] is gorgeous as a first or middle name. [name_m]How[/name_m] interesting that it should be deemed “not serious enough” as a first name when [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is a Nameberry favorite.

Have never thought of this as a name before but I really like it! Beautiful sound and imagery. [name_u]Love[/name_u] that it represents peace and love. Would go great as a middle name but could also see it as a first name!
I love [name_u]Dove[/name_u] as a middle but not a first name. I like shorter names in the middle spot with longer first names such as [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u]. I also like word names so [name_u]Dove[/name_u] is perfect. Also if you want a more unusual middle name instead of more popular ones like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f].
