been thinking about her a lot recently… but not sold on it. so, what kind of imagery do you get from dove? what are some girls first names like dove?
also do you think it is too tied to the soap brand?

I picture a very calm, sweet little girl, but honestly I feel like I would need to meet a [name_f]Dove[/name_f] to give the name a personality. I do think of the soap brand, but not immediately so could probably be avoidable.

I like [name_f]Dove[/name_f]! Sweet, gentle and peaceful but with some spark to it too. I don’t think too much of the soap brand - more of the bird. In terms of imagery, I’m thinking of white feathers, shades of pale blue, purple, pink and orange, sparkles, fluffy clouds, white skirts, knitted pastel blue sweaters

. Of all the times I heard the name, never thought of it before! 
I love Dove’s soft sound and I hear the soft cooing of doves in the early misty morning, and ironically think of the priests selling doves in the temple in [name_m]Jerusalem[/name_m] where [name_m]Jesus[/name_m] turned the tables. Not sure if that’s a good reference or not but I usually think of it. [name_m]Or[/name_m] Jesus’ parents bringing two doves when they took [name_m]Jesus[/name_m] to the temple after He was born. I also think of bears, ironically, since the Hebrew [name_m]Dov[/name_m] (male name) means “bear” lol.
I also often think of [name_f]Doveva[/name_f] which I think I prefer, I love that that could get the nns [name_f]Dove[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f], or even [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_f]Dove[/name_f] I’ve always preferred as a middle, myself. But I do find it to be a sweet and unexpected name! I just don’t think it’s a name I’d like to go by day-to-day.

[name_f]Dove[/name_f] is nice. I think of the bird, of course, but moreso its usage as a symbol of peace. I hadn’t thought of the soap brand until you mentioned it, but then I couldn’t get that association out of my mind.

thanks everyone! ironically, i hadn’t thought of the soap brand originially but after posting it i was having a look at other dove posts and started thinking about it! thats why i added it in to my originial post of the suggestions i like poppy and daisy (common in my area though), flora, lavender, aura (love this one), paloma (one of my fav names), blue, soleil, soul, cove, lou, haven, posie, belle + wren. thanks!
It feels very calm and peaceful with a tiny bit of quirky edge. White and pale grey. I really like it. I think of the bird, then the celebrity, then the soap.
