I am pretty set on one of these names if we have a daughter next. Which name do you personally like better? Thanks!
[name]Both[/name] are beautiful, but I’m digging [name]Annabel[/name]. It’s so smooth, sweet, and soft. I can see it age well and it can work for multiple personalities. I also love the nickname [name]Annie[/name], don’t know if you’re into it. [name]Eva[/name] I can only picture on a diva, which, for me, isn’t what I would want in a name. As for [name]Eve[/name], that’s a whole other story… I would definitely recommend thinking about [name]Eve[/name]. It’s lovely.
I love [name]Annabel[/name]! It’s elegant and classy. [name]Eva[/name] is sweet but seems a bit insubstantial… then again I tend to like longer names.
[name]Annabel[/name] gets my vote! She’s soft and spunky, which I love. [name]Eva[/name] feels unfinished to me.
I prefer [name]Annabel[/name] but both are really lovely.
You can’t go wrong either way but [name]Eva[/name] feels more timeless compared to the numerous -bel/belle names.
I love [name]Eva[/name]! It’s such a beautiful name that grows really well from baby to teen, adult and pensioner. I can imagine both mama [name]Eva[/name] and Grandma [name]Eve[/name]!
[name]Annabel[/name] has never really done it for me. It’s cute and it’s pretty, but that’s about it. It’s a tad too princessy for me!
I dislike [name]Eva[/name] very much, though I don’t mind [name]Eve[/name].
[name]Annabel[/name] is not going to be one of those names that’s always in, but I like it.
I love them both, but I love [name]Annabel[/name] more. It has more a wow factor for me.
I love [name]Annabel[/name], it’s much less predictable than [name]Eva[/name] in the UK. [name]Annabel[/name] is so sweet and pretty, and I just love this spelling.
I’m not so keen on [name]Eva[/name] because it’s one I hear all the time alongside [name]Eve[/name] and [name]Evie[/name].
[name]Annabel[/name] gets my vote also, it’s a lovely name imo, its classic and it hasn’t got as popular as the [name]Eve[/name]/[name]Eva[/name] type names yet.
Also I know I have the [name]Annabelle[/name] spelling listed in my signature which I do love but lately I’m much more attracted to [name]Annabel[/name] or just [name]Anabel[/name], both are much less frilly and more like one name rather than two names [name]Anna[/name] & [name]Belle[/name] smooshed together.
[name]Eva[/name] is beautiful! I don’t really like [name]Annabel[/name] particularly much.
Normally I’d say [name]Eva[/name], but I’ve just recently begun to appreciate [name]Annabel[/name]. So for now anyway, I’m saying [name]Annabel[/name] I’ve been considering this name myself.
I like both names but I think [name]Eva[/name] edges out [name]Annabel[/name] for me. [name]Eva[/name] packs a punch in her little package: she’s classy, sophisticated and has lots of European flair. [name]Annabel[/name] is more frilly and romantic.
I love [name]Annabel[/name]. I thought when I was younger I wouldn’t have kids and named my cat this and SO regret it because it’s the perfect girl’s name. This spelling too. It’s so much nicer & classic than the unnecessary “le” on the end.
[name]Annabel[/name]. I don’t care that it’s a “belle- name,” it’s glorious. I know a jazz musician who named his daughter [name]Annabel[/name], so whenever I see it I hear the song he wrote about [name]Annabel[/name] in my head. The name really does have a bouncy, flouncy delightful rhythm.
[name]Annabel[/name] is really pretty (though I much, much prefer [name]Amabel[/name]), but I’m so over the -belle names. [name]Isabel[/name], [name]Anabel[/name], they might as well be the same name. They strike the exact same note. Neither is distinctive any longer.
Much prefer [name]Eve[/name] to [name]Eva[/name].
IDK. It’s hard to pick. Going by sound alone, I’d pick [name]Annabel[/name]. If it were [name]Eve[/name] vs [name]Annabel[/name], though, I’d most certainly pick [name]Eve[/name]. Since [name]Eva[/name] will get lost among all the [name]Evie[/name]'s and [name]Ava[/name]'s and [name]Evelyn[/name]'s…it’s all kind of the same difference. I’m torn! Regardless, they’re both absolutely gorgeous names that I’m sure your daughter will be happy to have.
[name]Annabel[/name] gets my vote
[name]Eva[/name]. It’s sophisticated, lovely, and great at any age.
I’ve warmed up to [name]Annabel[/name] some, but it still feels so very childlike.
