[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] or [name_f]Maya[/name_f]. I love the international feel and sound and meaning of [name_f]Maya[/name_f] but I also like that [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is less common and can use the nn [name_f]Tessie[/name_f] as a little girl- please help!!

[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is warm and cosy, but earthy and outdoorsy too - [name_f]Tessie[/name_f] is gorgeous too 
I personally love [name_f]Maya[/name_f] for a little girl, but [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] nn [name_f]Tessie[/name_f] is cute too. I really think you couldn’t go wrong with both names!
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is much better IMO. [name_f]Maya[/name_f] feels overused to me.

I prefer [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]. I like the strong but sweet, breezy blueness of it, and I love sturdy but nostalgic, [name_f]Tess[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Maya[/name_f] too but I don’t find it as charming for some reason. Plus, the kid I know called [name_f]Maya[/name_f] gets a lot of “is if My-ah or May-ah” (it’s the latter).
Both nice, but I definitely prefer [name_f]Maya[/name_f] for the reasons you’ve stated - the meaning and international vibe. I think it’s a chic name with a lot of history and will age really well
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]. Don’t like [name_f]Maya[/name_f] prn. [name_f]Mya[/name_f] and for the May-a pronunciation much prefer [name_f]Maia[/name_f]. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is warm, down to earth, distinct and just the right side of unusual / underused (yet familiar), also [name_f]Tess[/name_f] is lovely.

Both names are lovely! [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is my favorite. It feels warm and gentle. I associate it with autumnal colors. It’s short and sweet, but it has nickname options! [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] feels traditional but modern and unexpected at the same time.

I prefer [name_f]Maya[/name_f]! It’s chic and international. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] isn’t my favorite but it’s also a nice name. [name_m]Just[/name_m] personal preference

I love both, but [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] for me! I love the meaning and the ties it has to my own family, personally. I would love to have a [name_f]Tess[/name_f] or [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] one day!
[name_f]Maya[/name_f] is definitely international, with ties to [name_m]Israel[/name_m] and Greece… but so is [name_f]Tess[/name_f]! It is in the Netherlands’ top 20 I believe, and ranks on quite a few other lists (and the original [name_f]Teresa[/name_f] is well used in many more!). [name_f]Tess[/name_f] is one of my favorite names, makes me so happy to see. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] for sure, imo, although [name_f]Maya[/name_f] is beautiful as well.
