Down to 2: Simon or Miles?

[name_m]Simon[/name_m] or [name_m]Miles[/name_m] for baby boy #1? I’ve liked [name_m]Simon[/name_m] for longer, but [name_m]Miles[/name_m] is coming up strong.

The middle name is a one-syllable family name that sounds fine with both. The last name is two-syllables, sounds like [name_u]Brennan[/name_u].

One other possible thing- we happen to know someone in our extended friend group named [name_m]Miles[/name_m] with our last name. Thankfully he doesn’t ruin the name for us, but it still might be kinda funny/weird, at least at first.

Both are great options, but I’m going to go with [name_m]Miles[/name_m]!

I love [name_m]Miles[/name_m], but [name_m]Simon[/name_m] is lovely too, and more unusual right now. If you know someone with the exact FN + SN combo of [name_m]Miles[/name_m] with your surname, that would swing it towards [name_m]Simon[/name_m] for me. Not a dealbreaker if [name_m]Miles[/name_m] is the clear favourite, but since it isn’t, that is a bit of a weird situation which could be easily avoided by choosing [name_m]Simon[/name_m].
