What’s your vote? I am being induced in 3 wks., and we have it narrowed down to [name]Cooper[/name] or [name]Braylen[/name]. We can’t decide! We think [name]Cooper[/name] is really cute and fits with us well, and [name]Braylen[/name] is a combination of mine and my hubbies names. Our other kids are [name]Maddie[/name], [name]Tucker[/name], and [name]Sophia[/name]. I do NOT want to wait until the delivery to decide. Help!
Definitely [name]Cooper[/name]! It fits perfect with your other childrens name, and avoids the overly trendy - [name]Jayden[/name]/[name]Kayden[/name]/[name]Rayden[/name] fad. [name]Cooper[/name] works great on a baby/toddler, child, a teenager and an adult!
[name]Braylen[/name] sounds made up …and there for terrible
It also looks like the ayden names…blech
I like [name]Cooper[/name] better, but I think I actually like [name]Braylen[/name] better with [name]Maddie[/name], [name]Tucker[/name], and [name]Sophia[/name]. Although I think [name]Braylen[/name] will be easily confused with [name]Brayden[/name] and [name]Braelyn[/name] (which is quite popular on girls), so I would avoid it. [name]Cooper[/name] is cute, and [name]Maddie[/name], [name]Tucker[/name], [name]Sophia[/name], and [name]Cooper[/name] are really cute together.
Good luck!
I would go with [name]Cooper[/name]. I know a few Braylons, and it just feels like a trendy made up name for me. The meaning it has for you trumps trendy-ness though, so I think it would be ok.
I strongly dislike [name]Braylen[/name], it’s one of those ridiculously trendy name and although you might find it pretty original being a mixture of both your names, it isn’t it and there are lots of similar names doing the rounds too ([name]Jaylen[/name], [name]Caelan[/name], Phaelen, [name]Galen[/name] etc, as well as the aden names sounding very similar).
I don’t particularly like [name]Cooper[/name] but it fits much better with your children’s names, which I love!
Oh, I’d recommend [name]Cooper[/name]. If my parents had named my brother after themselves, and I just had an ordinary name, I’d really feel left out.
Definitely [name]Cooper[/name]!
I agree that [name]Braylen[/name] sounds feminine… so I’d go with [name]Cooper[/name] too. I think it goes well with his sibs names too.
Definately [name]Cooper[/name]!
I think [name]Cooper[/name] too. I know a super cute little guy named [name]Cooper[/name] and his name fits him to a T.
[name]Braylen[/name] sounds pretty feminine to me too. I know at least 3 girls named [name]Braelynn[/name] (or some similar spelling) with the same pronounciation and when I saw your option I actually double checked to make sure you were talking about a boy.
Looking at the sibset [name]Maddie[/name], [name]Tucker[/name], [name]Sophia[/name], and [name]Cooper[/name], I would think [name]Tucker[/name] and [name]Cooper[/name] were boys.
Looking at the sibset [name]Maddie[/name], [name]Tucker[/name], [name]Sophia[/name], and [name]Braylen[/name], I would think [name]Tucker[/name] was the only boy.
I know a six-year-old girl [name]Cooper[/name], and every time I call her name I think “[name]Cooper[/name] is too masculine for a girl!”
I also know a five-year-old [name]Braelyn[/name], and every time I call her name I think “A ‘[name]Bray[/name]’ is the sound a donkey makes!”
Oops - I did not read the comment before mine. You are expecting a son! That changes things.
[name]Cooper[/name] is the perfect name!
Actually, each of our kids are named after us in some way. Our first has my middle name, our second has my hubby’s middle name, and our third has my initials. So if we go with [name]Cooper[/name], he’ll be the only one without part of our name
Another vote for [name]Cooper[/name].
[name]Do[/name] you already have a middle name set? You could do [name]Cooper[/name] [name]Braylen[/name] and get the best of both worlds.

That is a possibility. We haven’t decided on a middle name yet. Our 3, almost 4 year old son wants his middle name to be [name]Thomas[/name]. He has been obsessed with trains (and [name]Thomas[/name] the train) since he was a year old. I don’t particularly like that middle name, but considering it. lol. He is SO beyond excited about his new baby brother.
[name]Cooper[/name] for sure! You can’t have one kids named after Mum and Dad and not do the same for the others!
I like both names, and I think [name]Cooper[/name] [name]Braylen[/name] is adorable. [name]Braylen[/name] [name]Cooper[/name] is even better.
Not trying to be mean, but a bray is the sound that a donkey makes. Why would you want that in your kid’s name? [name]Cooper[/name] is a lovely name that [name]Braylen[/name] can’t even compare to. Seriously, go with [name]Cooper[/name].
