To go with [name]Drake[/name] [name]Zephyr[/name] (The name [name]Drake[/name] rocks by the way!), I voted for Skandar [name]Maximus[/name]. It sounds strong and handsome, plus I have liked the name [name]Maximus[/name] since the movie the Gladiator.
[name]Drake[/name] and Skander? Regardless of what middle you choose, this is the most perfect sibset [name]EVER[/name].
While I love Maximus, and think it goes the best with [name]Zephyr[/name], [name]Leonidas[/name] flows the best in my opinion.
I love all options except [name]Mordecai[/name]. Makes me think of the word mortify. :-?

I’m absolutely loving Skandar [name]Balthazar[/name]! So handsome, and I absolutely love [name]Drake[/name] and Skandar together.

Skander [name]Leonidas[/name] is quite literally perfection. What boy would not love to have this as his name?
Skandar [name]Leonidas[/name] just has a lovely flow. I had to vote for that one.
I also think that repeating the -ar ending goes against Skandar [name]Balthazar[/name], and [name]Mordecai[/name] sounds “mordant” and depressing, dragging Skandar down. And, to me, [name]Maximus[/name] sounds sort of ordinary next to Skandar. These are all great names, and great middle names. But Skandar has set the bar pretty high!
My vote definitely goes to Skandar [name]Leonidas[/name]. It feels the most friendly to me, and just flows together really well. Skandar [name]Mordecai[/name] would be my least favorite, [name]Mordecai[/name] feels a little bit ‘mean’ to me (like it’d be the name of an evil character in a fantasy novel) ([name]Malachi[/name] could be a decent alternative). Skandar [name]Balthazar[/name] just doesn’t flow together particularly well. [name]Maximus[/name] is just not a name I like too much (feels too similar to the word ‘maximum’ for my taste-- like he’d be Skandar to the maximum---- [name]Maxwell[/name] would be cool though— in fact [name]Maxwell[/name] may be my overall favorite choice to go along with Skandar of any MNs I can think of— though [name]Leonidas[/name] is also very awesome).

Thanks everyone for your help and comments! It feels great to have found THE name (Skandar) if it’s a boy, but finding a middle name to go with it has been challenging. I have some new suggestions, but I haven’t asked daddy-to-be about them yet. Thanks for the help so far though, looks like [name]Mordecai[/name] and [name]Balthazar[/name] is a no go.

I think its a tie between Skander [name]Leonidas[/name] and Skander [name]Maximus[/name] for me. Although I love [name]Balthazar[/name] I don’t think it quite works with Skander.
I think [name]Maximus[/name] is an awesome middle name choice for Skander!
Skandar? ummm I just can’t imagine this name in real life. The only one I can even imagine on a person is [name]Maximus[/name] so I would go with that as the first name…But it seems like everyone on here loves all the names so maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about.
