Our son is [name]Orson[/name] [name]Chandler[/name] [name]Luck[/name]. ([name]Chandler[/name] is my maiden name) Our second son will be here in a few weeks! It’s been such a challenge finding a name this time around. Here’s whet we’ve come up with…
[name]Love[/name] your son’s name, [name]Orson[/name] is awesome!
[name]Boone[/name] [name]Parker[/name] - Totally agree with your husband this name is pretty cool! Granted, I live in a rural part of [name]America[/name] and this is just up my alley.
[name]Ben[/name] [name]Parker[/name] - I have always loved the name [name]Ben[/name], is the first name going to be [name]Ben[/name] or [name]Benjamin[/name]?
[name]Woodrow[/name] [name]Parker[/name] - I agree about not wanting a nn for this name, my husband and I both love this name, however we are worried about the nn [name]Woody[/name].
[name]Parker[/name] - I like this as a middle name as opposed to a first name.
[name]Orson[/name] is such a lovely name! I think that [name]Parker[/name] would pair the best with [name]Orson[/name], too me [name]Orson[/name] and [name]Parker[/name] would be the cutest sib-set ever!
I really like [name]Boone[/name] [name]Parker[/name]! I think it’s cool and if your son wants to have a “normal” name he can always go by his middle.
I think [name]Ben[/name] [name]Parker[/name] was the name of spider man’s ([name]Peter[/name] [name]Parker[/name]'s) uncle. But it’s up to you if that connotation is a good thing or not.
I like [name]Woodrow[/name] also but if you shy away from the nickname woody then I would suggest not using that name.
[name]Parker[/name] is a nice name but I think it’s getting a little too popular for my taste.
[name]Boone[/name] [name]Parker[/name] – Very solid choice. This combo is daring without being ridiculous which I think is an essential part of a good boys name. And [name]Orson[/name] & [name]Boone[/name]? [name]Love[/name] it.
[name]Ben[/name] [name]Parker[/name] – There is something really wonderful about [name]Ben[/name] as a stand-alone name rather than a nickname.
[name]Woodrow[/name] [name]Parker[/name] – This fits well with [name]Orson[/name], but it definitely takes the sibling “set” in a different direction. When I hear [name]Orson[/name] and [name]Boone[/name] I think quirky and cool, when I hear [name]Orson[/name] and [name]Woodrow[/name] I think quirky and studious. [name]Both[/name] are fine, just something to keep in mind! Also, [name]Woodrow[/name] has a strong presidential association for me.
[name]Parker[/name] – This name has a great sound, very happy and friendly. It does seem to fit better with [name]Chandler[/name] than it does with [name]Orson[/name] though.
I love [name]Boone[/name] [name]Parker[/name], and think it’s exquisite for a young man today! It is a fine sib name for [name]Orson[/name] [name]Chandler[/name] as well! Good health and best wishes to you and your family!
Honestly, I don’t think any of the names have the sheer commanding presence of [name]Orson[/name] [name]Chandler[/name]. His name is awesome so I can imagine how difficult it’s been to find another name for your second son.
[name]Boone[/name] [name]Parker[/name] (my husbands pick) - I’m not a fan of [name]Boone[/name] or [name]Parker[/name] and I don’t like two surnames in one combo. This sounds more like the name of a corporation (camping and outdoor equipment) rather than a human being. [name]Parker[/name] is better in the middle spot. [name]Boone[/name] [name]Luck[/name] has no flow.
[name]Ben[/name] [name]Parker[/name] (my grandfathers namesake) - [name]Ben[/name] is a classic name but it does sound kind of bland next to [name]Orson[/name]. [name]Ben[/name] [name]Luck[/name] is abrupt.
[name]Woodrow[/name] [name]Parker[/name] - [name]Woodrow[/name] sounds kind of pompous to me. I prefer Woodruff (forest ranger) but I don’t really like two surnames in a combo. He’ll probably get [name]Woody[/name]. [name]Roe[/name]/Row wouldn’t be bad for a nn.
[name]Parker[/name] (my mothers maiden name not sure of a middle name) - While I appreciate honouring family, all I hear is “park her”. It’s kind of an uninspiring trendy choice that is getting really popular for girls. I would use it in the middle spot. Have you considered any other occupational names like [name]Spencer[/name], [name]Sawyer[/name], [name]Mercer[/name], [name]Faulkner[/name], [name]Archer[/name], [name]Schuyler[/name] or [name]Cooper[/name]?
[name]Boone[/name] [name]Parker[/name] - this name is great!!
[name]Ben[/name] [name]Parker[/name] - this name is okay, made good by the fact that it is a namesake
[name]Woodrow[/name] [name]Parker[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name] this name! I honestly don’t think kids today will tease about nn [name]Woody[/name]. They associate it with the [name]Toy[/name] [name]Story[/name] character and not the innuendo…
[name]Parker[/name] - I think this works best as a middle name
Great feedback!!! Thank you so much.
We’re really thrilled to see other people so excited about [name]Boone[/name]. We’re really liking it! My husband and I are high school sweethearts from Oklahoma and sense we’ve been married we’ve not really been back. Currently on the west coast and moving to the east coast in Aug. we’re trying to find a name to pay homage to our “okie” roots, which is where both [name]Boone[/name] and [name]Woodrow[/name] come from : ) Still love [name]Woodrow[/name] and I even love [name]Woody[/name], but since [name]Orson[/name] doesn’t have a nn (none of us do) we like the idea of names with no nicknames. Thank you for your response!
I really don’t like [name]Orson[/name] and [name]Benson[/name] : / two names that end the same not my favorite! We’re trying to find something totally unique for each babe… maybe that’s the issue here. I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Ben[/name] as a stand alone name but am not a fan of the other [name]Ben[/name] names… except for [name]Benedict[/name], but my husband says NO! HA!
Thank you for your response. I do love [name]Parker[/name] Sebation. I told my husband he could call him [name]Parker[/name] and I could call him Sebation another name my husband said no too.
You’ve pretty much summed up exactly how I feel about all of these names. Except for the [name]Ben[/name] [name]Parker[/name] part, but i’ve not watched a whole lot of spiderman : ) Thank you so much for your response!
Your response was awesome! Thank you! You’ve pretty much confirmed everything my husband and I had been debating over these last few names. I loved your input on [name]Woodrow[/name] especially! We’ve had that thought on many a name that we’ve liked. We feel like we’d like to go in the direction of light, fun, kinda crazy. [name]Orson[/name] paired with a lot of names out there can get pretty stuffy. We’d like to avoid that. Thanks for your time!
[name]Boone[/name] is great. It has a sweet meaning too. I did however recognize [name]Woodrow[/name] as being a town in Oklahoma more so then [name]Boone[/name]… but I prefer [name]Boone[/name]. It is on my own list.
