So, we started with a huge list (no joke, over 200 names… turns out we like A LOT of girls names, lol) and have somehow managed to narrow that down to six, but we’ve been stuck here for quite a while. We love [name_f]Moon[/name_f] as a middle and think it’s really cool, and when we came up with [name_m]Bowie[/name_m] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], we loved the combo and no other middle name fit quite as well to us.)
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_m]Bowie[/name_m] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] are my favorites. [name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] is also stunning!
I think my final vote would go to [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], though, for the family connection of [name_f]Mae[/name_f]!
Such pretty choices, I understand why you’re having such a hard time narrowing it down! I’m personally really liking the sound of [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], with [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] as a close runner up.
[name_f]My[/name_f] thoughts, in order of preference:
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - [name_m]An[/name_m] absolute stunner of a name. I like how sweet and simple it is, and I think [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is a name that’s unlikely to ever be trendy or fall out of fashion. It’s beautiful and timeless with an amazing meaning.
[name_m]Bowie[/name_m] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] - I find this name really cute and charming. I’m a bit worried it’s an outlier in that it’s much more modern and androgynous than the other names on this list. It might be tougher to find a name for a sibling down the line if having a sibset with matching styles is important to you. However, this is a great name and while [name_m]Bowie[/name_m] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] for example don’t match perfectly style wise, they’re still nice together.
[name_f]Ruby[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] - I think this one tilts more [name_f]Southern[/name_f] and sassy. [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] is such a high energy name and I’d love to see more little Rubys out and about. [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] would also be adorable sisters.
[name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] - I do love the middle name [name_f]Moon[/name_f], I think it’s so pretty and evocative. [name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] flows really nicely and has a fun, mysterious energy about it.
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] - [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] is very cute and I already said I love [name_f]Moon[/name_f], but with [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] being a moon goddess already, the full name feels a bit redundant to me. I doubt many people would notice, however, unless they’re name nerds or mythology buffs.
[name_f]Serenity[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] - I just don’t love [name_f]Serenity[/name_f] as a name. I recognize that it’s a very pretty sounding word, but I just don’t quite vibe with it. I feel like [name_f]Serenity[/name_f] maybe puts a bit of personality pressure - some kids just aren’t very serene. I think [name_f]Iris[/name_f] has those same connotations of peace without being quite so literal.
Top 2: [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] & [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] & [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] are darling! They are the perfect combination of unique/feminine/charming. I can easily picture either of them on any age You really can’t go wrong. The only hesitation I would offer is that [name_f]Serenity[/name_f] gets a little garbled in my mouth as I say it (to be fair that might just be the fault of my southern twang lol). You’ve got a lot of great options to choose from. I would narrow down your list to [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] followed by [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. I would also add [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] if it was an option.
[name_m]Bowie[/name_m] seems like more of a style outlier on your list. I don’t love [name_f]Leila[/name_f] with your surname because it has similar sounds. It also sounded familiar to me and then I realised I was thinking of [name_f]Sailor[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f]. [name_f]Serenity[/name_f] is a good option I just prefer the other names and shorter lengths in general.
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f], but I would like [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] just as well. I think it would be more special, because it was an “ honor” name.

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] is one of those names that captures you , I don’t think it’s ever super popular but it’s striking when you hear it . It gets bonus points for me because it’s easy to spell / has generally one spelling . And who doesn’t love the goo goo dolls song
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] is my second choice - it’s a name I have loved forever . I can’t tell you why I am so obsessed with it but I have always just loved it
[name_f]Ruby[/name_f] is currently pretty popular in my circles . I think I have 4 friends with Ruby’s . I do like [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] but for me the popularity would steer me away
