Down to two! Help us choose :)

Hi berries, thank you so much for all of your help on my previous thread.

We’re down to Rosamund Florence and Florence Rosamund. I adore both, but obviously we can only choose one first name for our baby girl and time is running out.

I’ve loved these two names for as long as I can remember!

Rosamund: her nickname(s) would be Rose, Ros/Roz, or Rosie.
Florence: her nickname(s) would be Fleur (I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but I can’t seem to get the pronunciation right?! Is it pronounced like flur, rhyming with blur?), Flor, Rence, or Rencie.

Both Rosamund Florence and Florence Rosamund flow well with our last name, which makes the choice all the more difficult.

Which one would you choose?

Both are absolutely stunning, and you can’t go wrong with either, but my vote goes to [name_u]Florence[/name_u] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]. :orange_heart:

So gorgeous! I’d personally choose Florence Rosamund. I just adore the name Florence so much. Both combinations are so lovely, best of luck choosing!

Also, Fleur is indeed pronounced to rhyme with blur! It’s a bit more tricky to describe its pronunciation with a French accent, but rhyming with blur is lovely. There’s also the easier-to-pronounce nickname Flora, if you like that. :relaxed: It’s my favorite!

I would pick [name_u]Florence[/name_u] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] and use the nn [name_f]Flora[/name_f] which obviously is a pet name for [name_u]Florence[/name_u] but also references the “Rose” in [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]

Both are gorgeous!

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite is [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_u]Florence[/name_u]. [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is such a gorgeous rare ‘rose’ name that feels regal and elegant. She’s a fresh choice with the lovely nickname [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]. She feels effortless teamed with [name_u]Florence[/name_u] in the middle name slot.

[name_u]Florence[/name_u] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is pretty but [name_u]Florence[/name_u] (in the UK) is becoming increasingly popular and despite being beautiful doesn’t feel as sparkly

Both are beautiful! I’d have to go with [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_u]Florence[/name_u] though!

Personally I’d go with [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_u]Florence[/name_u] but the other way round is beautiful too

Oh I absolutely love both! Both [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] and [name_u]Florence[/name_u] are such lovely, soft and calm names. I like the nicknames for [name_u]Florence[/name_u] a little bit better, but that’s my personal preference. What do you think about [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]?

If i had to choose, I’d pick [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] Florence… [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is just darling! :rose:
