[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] Océan is just way, way too handsome! To be honest, I even think [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_u]Fran[/name_u]çois Océan also has a pretty nice ring to it.
Both are gorgeous and I love the meanings behind them
I voted for Oceán but am now worrying it might repeat the sounds from [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] too much? It might make it kind of odd or hard to say outloud. I’m not sure, but something to think about whilst you choose
The double middle suggestion above is lovely, although it would make his name quite long

I’m actually seriously considering giving him both middle names now! I don’t know why I didn’t think of that sooner. 
Both names are beautiful, but I voted [name_u]Fran[/name_u]çois. Accent marks are often overlooked (or prohibited on legal documents), so Francois seems retains a bit more of what you’re looking for than [name_u]Ocean[/name_u].
I completely agree that [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_u]Fran[/name_u]çois Océan is perfect! it’s so handsome and sweet, and I love all of the meaning behind it.
I voted for [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] Océan because I prefer Océan to [name_u]Fran[/name_u]çois, but both are great names!
