  • Lea (pronounced Leah): 2 (7%)

If you don’t want the popular [name_f]Leah[/name_f], but you want that pronunciation, I’d go for [name_f]Lia[/name_f].
[name_f]Leah[/name_f] is very pretty with [name_u]June[/name_u] though.

I like [name_f]Lea[/name_f]/[name_f]Leah[/name_f] with [name_u]June[/name_u]. [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] is nice, but seems a bit frilly next to the classic [name_u]June[/name_u]. [name_f]Celia[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], or [name_f]Clea[/name_f] would all work better with sister [name_u]June[/name_u].

Both names are gorgeous, but I like [name_f]Lea[/name_f] best with [name_u]June[/name_u]. [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] is very cute too though

I like Cecelia nicknamed Lia. I think Cecelia and June sound a little better, both familiar but not crazy popular and very vintage. Lia is an obvious nickname, especially if you want to avoid Cece, and you already know you like the sound of Leah.

Also, are you stuck on using a family name? Because I think Celia would be a great halfway point. Celia and June are darling together.

I love the suggestion of [name_f]Celia[/name_f], but out of the two original names, I prefer [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]. When I see [name_f]Lea[/name_f], I read [name_u]Lee[/name_u], not [name_f]Leah[/name_f]. I also think [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] sounds better as a sibling to [name_u]June[/name_u].

I think [name_f]Lea[/name_f] is adorable, and love the tie to you! [name_u]June[/name_u] and [name_f]Lea[/name_f] is short and sweet, too.

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], though, and [name_u]June[/name_u] and [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] are gorgeous. Why not just do [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lia[/name_f], and then you get the best of both worlds?

I like [name_u]June[/name_u] & [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lia[/name_f] is a fantastic option for you!

(If you’re still open to suggestions, [name_u]June[/name_u] & [name_f]Clara[/name_f] would be wonderful [name_f]IMO[/name_f] )

I was going to vote for [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] anyway, but now that it has been pointed out you could nickname her [name_f]Lia[/name_f], that’s just perfect. Not only is it a way to work [name_f]Lea[/name_f] in, it also prevents the unwanted nickname [name_f]Cece[/name_f].

Thanks, everyone. Would it be weird to have [name_f]Lea[/name_f] be the nn for [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]? I like your suggestions but the spelling of [name_f]Lia[/name_f] kind of catches me up.

And what’s the standard spelling - [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] or [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]?

I think [name_u]June[/name_u] & [name_f]Lea[/name_f] go best together.

I love [name_f]Leah[/name_f] with [name_u]June[/name_u]!

I love both, but [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] (no nn) is stunning
